Magnifly 2 Running Shoe

Just because you're a road runner, doesn't mean you can't explore beautiful places. If you schedule enough half marathons you could go to most of the national parks in the country, and you'd want the Topo Athletic Women's Magnifly 2 Running Shoe on to do it. This 0-drop shoe enhances your natural gait without disrupting it. The midsole has two layers, a soft, cushioning layer against your foot and a firmer, more responsive layer closer to the ground, that work together to minimize energy loss as you run. The roomy toe box allows your toes to spread out as they naturally would when taking your weight, and the toe has a slight rocker to it to help your foot articulate through the toe-off phase, letting you run exactly how you were meant to—just a little more effectively.

  • Road runners for getting to beautiful places
  • 0mm drop lets you maintain your natural gait
  • Double-density, injected EVA midsole absorbs impact
  • Firmer bottom layer for a more responsive takeoff
  • Toe-rocker improves toe-off effectiveness
  • Spacious toe box for natural articulation
  • Breathable upper material lets your sweat evaporate
  • Item #TPA000V

Decent Shoe for the money

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

While I ended up returning the shoes due to a size/fit issue, the shoes are very well made. The quality of the upper and the sole of the shoe were very impressive. The fit was a bit awkward for my wife as she has an extremely narrow heel and a wider forefoot. This led to the shoes not fitting properly. Despite the fit issues I would recommend the shoes based on the quality. I'm sure had they fit well they would have lasted quite a long time.

My new favorite pair of running shoes

I've used it several times

I run an average of 20 miles a week, and need a zero drop shoe because of a Morton’s neuroma in one foot. These shoes have a nice wide toe box, and are lightweight and bouncy without being too heavily cushioned. In short, when I wear them, I don’t think about my feet or my shoes. They let me focus on my breathing or my run. They are also breathable and do well in the rain. I am very happy with them, and hope to get another pair to work into my rotation. Plus, they’re pretty! I buy Running shoes based on how they feel, and I never get to choose cute ones. Yay! I wear a size 7 Street shoe, and tried a 7.5 and 8 in these. I preferred the size 8.

Love em

I've used it several times

After ordering 8 different shoes from various companies (Saucony, Asics, Nike, Altra) finally stumbled upon Topo Athletic and order 2 different models from Backcountry. To my surprise a non-known brand like Topo ended up being the winner and this model the Magnifly 2 have been amazing. I average walking 15,000-30,000 steps a day with a treadmill desk and needed something that could withstand that type of use daily. Plus I knew I wanted a zero drop shoe that worked well with wide feet when you take all this into account there are few shoes on the market really either Altra or Topo makes them. This shoe has been the best and after 2 days of full use I am finally pain free and have already ordered by second pair of these shoes. Thank you so much Topo I won't look to buy any other brand in the future.

I ordered these for my wife since she likes the Altra zero-drop shoe style. Thanks for the good review! It helped sway my decision.

My fav running shoes!

I've put it through the wringer

I love these shoes! I am a forefoot striker who loves a good minimalist shoe but just can't get into the full-fledged barefoot shoe. This one fits the bill perfectly. The toe rocker and 0mm drop help facilitate the forefoot strike in a really comfortable way. The spacious toe box is comfortable on my wide forefoot, but the heel still contours nicely to my narrow heel. They're lightweight, breathable, and seem durable so far. There's a reason these shoes have won several gear awards! I'm totally digging them!!

I just emailed you to see how you like these shoes. I should have read this review first. You're stoked! I'm so glad. And thank you for the review.
