Why We Like The Topeak JoeBlow Pro Digital Floor Pump

The Topeak JoeBlow Pro Digital Floor Pump has an intuitive top-mounted digital gauge with rubber bumper impact protection that delivers accurate tire pressure readings up to 200PSI. The large padded handle brings us a comfortable grip, while the wide steel base keeps everything stable as we work on our steed. We love that the extra-long hose can even reach bikes mounted in a work stand. The SmartHead DX3 automatically adjusts to fit Presta or Schrader valves, and the lower profile air-release button ensures fine-tuning of tire pressure without unintended pressure release.

Disposable due to Critical Design Flaws

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Batteries have to be either easy to replace and short-lived OR could be harder to replace and long-lived. These batteries die fast and are terrible to replace. After the battery died in only 6 months of use, my first attempt to replace the battery resulted in the hidden fastening nuts being stripped (using the correct tool, 1.5mm Allen). Most expensive tire inflations I’ve ever done with this disposable pump I guess. From others' equally negative reviews, it seems that many people have this or a similar issue. If they do manage to remove that cover plate, it looks like it's still very difficult to figure out how to replace the batteries. 100% stay away from this terrible, flawed product. This will last shorter than the absolute cheapest pump you can buy anywhere. Disgraceful.
