I loved the material of this dress so much but ultimately ended up returning because it ran on the snug/fitted side. I would recommend buying the next size up for that comfy loose fit.

So comfortable!!

Looks great with a pair of leggings underneath which is necessary due to how short it is, along with some snazzy loafers and even my Stan Smiths. I wouldn't call it "mid-length" as it is so short. I'm 5'7", in good shape, and normally a size 14 so I purchased an XL and the back comes to within millimeters of my rear end, so even leaning forward a little bit would cause me to expose myself. Despite the shortness, this dress is incredibly comfortable, and like wearing a giant mens sweatshirt without all the extra bulk. It's not too loose, and not snug at all. :) Very well made, and I'm confident this will end up being a well-worn outfit. I hope Toad & Co. continues making this dress in more colors...I would buy this again.
