Its self-cleaning concept means you won't have to worry about dirt, debris, and muck clogging up the cleat-pedal interface during nasty conditions.
The included reversible cleat provides an optimized release angle of 13 or 17-degrees, depending on your riding preferences. You'll also find +/- 5-degrees (6-millimeters) of lateral float for extra comfort, especially on sore knees.
