With a solid, effective design, the Time ATAC DH 4 Pedals' oversized hollow steel axle and large aluminum platform make absolutely certain that you can stomp the landing on your DH bike over and over again.
Time's Auto Tension Adjust Concept (ATAC) line of pedals follows the same principles as its road lineup: simple design, easy engagement, and plenty of float. The ATAC pedals are favored by riders preferring more float over what is offered by the SPD clones, so your cleat angle isn't super critical, you have room for a little more "foot English" before the cleats disengage, and there's no need to adjust spring tension. As an added bonus, the cleat and spring bars makes them less likely to collect mud and debris on-trail.
Set the pedals up with either a 13 or 17-degree release angle, which you can change depending on which cleat you have on which shoe. The spring design of the pedals offers consistent cleat retention and stability as you take on wild descents and big jumps, while the ATAC system allows for a consistent release when you need to get out.

- I've used it several times
I have been using the non DH version of these pedals for a while now and have noticed that the outer cage is pretty beat up so I decided to switch to the aluminum cage and I couldnt be happier. pedal strikes dont worry me anymore and the performance of these pedals is great. Sheds mud and rocks great so there is no issue clipping in and tension and float are perfect. No complaints so far
