Perfect for commuting
- I've put it through the wringer
Oh man where to start. This was an impulse purchase - Strava had some commuter challenge and a discount on this pack was the reward. Since then it's been like 2 years of daily commutes in all weather and it's held up great. I roll my clothes into an 8L dry bag that goes into the main section, then I leave bike tools in one shoe holder & first aid supplies in the other; works great. 13" work laptop fits just fine, even with that other stuff. Laptop + clothes + a pair of shoes is pushing it though. They used to advertise this as machine wash, air dry but I don't see that anymore. Hasn't stopped me - just make sure to take the plastic board out.

Our award winning cycling pack is now better than ever. Designed in collaboration with San Francisco's Mission Cycling Club, the Raider Pack frees you to get in a pre-work ride without weighing you down. Weighing less than a pound, the Raider was named after Mission Cycling's pre-work "raids" up the Marin Headlands. Cooked up over a post-raid breakfast at a San Francisco neighborhood café, Timbuk2 and Mission Cycling were sweaty, tired, and sick of carrying their street clothes in bulky backpacks built for hiking. Understanding the need for a small, lightweight commuter pack that could hold the day's essentials without slowing down the pre-work ride, this Raider was born.

The smaller model (Rapid 14L) includes a small pocket and hose-guide for a hydro-bag, does this model include something similar?

Hi Aaron, This backpack does have a pocket but was designed to put in a shirt, it would be tough to fit in a bladder.
