Be jealous, guys.
Traditional mountaineering boots shouldn’t just be for the guys, which is why Timberland made the Women's Icon 6in Premium Boot. Crafted from premium waterproof leather and taped seams with recycled plastic laces, this boot is rugged and durable enough to storm the city streets or mountain trails. With a women-specific fit and style, this boot looks fabulous with tights and dresses or jeans and a flannel. The PrimaLoft ECO insulation provides comfy warmth against frigid winter temperatures, while the removable leather footbed, anti-fatigue midsole, and rubber lug sole combine to prevent sore feet and promote cushioning.

I got these as a gift for my girlfriend since she decided her Sorels were no longer doing the job. I purchased the boots in the Rust Nubuck, so I made sure to put a good sheet of boot protectant on them when she decided to keep them. They are very warm, and she's worn them in cold, wintery conditions (she can vouch that they are waterproof). Not only are these boots functional, but pretty fashionable too. I have seen her wear them casually and even out some nights. She typically wears a 6.5, but after reading some reviews and talking to others that own boots from the Timberland brand the consensus was that they run a bit big, so I ordered a size 6 for her. She said they are the perfect fit with a nice, thick pair of socks.
Great outdoor boot

They are hard to break into because since they are waterproof leather - they aren’t very stretchy so it is hard to put it on and take it off until it gets shaped with your feet. However, very comfortable considering that usually boots hurt my ankle and this one hasn’t so far. I haven’t tested the waterproof feature yet, but I have noticed that it does scratch so I have to make sure I clean it after I use it. Nice boots, worth it.
