The Thule x Tepui Low-Pro 2 is one of the lightest, lower-profile roof top tents out there. Not only does it fit on smaller vehicles better, but it also reduces aerodynamics on the road. It's easier to take on and off, and even easier to install. The tent itself features a versatile construction that ensures we have a comfortable time camping in any season. The roof's rain fly offers solid protection from wet weather, and the mesh windows enhance airflow as well as bug protection.

just got it
Just got my new Tepui for my 4Runner. Love it. Easy to set up and install. Plenty of room for me and my dog.

Great Solo Rooftop Tent
I love having a rooftop tent. I purchased the Thule Low Pro-2 as a solo camper. I recently completed a 2,300 mile trip with this tent on my 2021 outback. I used it with the factory crossbars since it's its only 98lbs. I was sure of the max static weight I placed leveling boards at each corner to take weight compleoff the crossbars before getting into the tent. The Low Pro-2 is great for solo campers and a breeze to setup and breakdown.

Great Rooftop Tent
I drove 2,300 miles round trip in my 2021 outback. Never had issues. I even drive through strong storm. I have just the stock crossbars. The tent was perfect and simple to setup. I did however placed leveling boards at each corner of my tent to take the weight off the bars before I got in it so it was just stiff as if I was on the ground with no bouncing. Having this tent makes camping a breeze.

Love it!
I love this tent for so many reasons! I am solo female camper and this extremely easy to set up on my own. It’s held up against many long rainy cold nights. If I could change anything I wish this tent was less easy to steal and I wish they would make an option to buy a better mattress for this tent. But overall I love this purchase!

Perfect
I was looking for an easy to use tent for my GMC Canyon for photography excursions where ever I go. Easy to use, well made and looks great. To speed things up in the morning I wish the cover was a drawstring not a zipper but it looks great all zipped up nice and clean looking.

I love it!
I really really love having this tent. It's super easy to get set up at the campsite and I have no problems opening the tent and setting up the ladder by myself.

Cool Product, But Needs a Couple Fixes
We love the low-pro cartop tent we recently bought, but the locks should be included if these are easily stolen. There's no reason to remove the screwdriver operated locks, thrown that away an put the other ones on - they should just come with it. Also, how the tent is attached to the crossbars seems archaic. I notice after our purchase, superior parts can be purchased separately for that too. These metal brackets should be replace with lockable attachments from tent to crossbar that are easy to connect, and should be included in the kit. These two fixes would make it a lot easier on the buyer.

Fits late model Outback factory cross bars
I have a 2021 Subaru Outback Onyx. Did quite a bit of research about compatibility of the Low-Pro with its stock crossbars with no definite answer. So I went ahead and purchased one. I've taken it on a number of trips, and found no problem both driving and while camping. My recommendation is thus a "yes" if you are wondering if it is compatible with the stock cross bars. Just one note of caution, I do limit my highway speed to 75mph, though I've passed a few trucks by going over 80. Why I want to use stock bars? It is about garage clearance.

Lightweight, Roomy and Comfortable!
I was concerned about the weight of RTT's especially for smaller vehicles with limited weight capacities but then the Low-Pro 2 was introduced. Tepui/Thule is a leader in RTT's so it was a no brainer and I have been thrilled ever since. Set up and tear down is easy, insulation and ventilation is great and the low profile saves a little bit on fuel consumption when driving. Get one!

I would also like to know what I would need to buy in order to support the 450lbs of this tent + 2 people on my roof racks, which are rated to hold 165lbs.
