This reliable bike rack mounts to your Thule T-tracks or Square Bars easily, and offers a carrying solution that doesn't lay a finger on your frame. Instead, it wraps your front wheel securely, and snugly cinches down your rear, keeping your bike secure when you shuttle to the trail head, while greatly reducing chances of scratching.
The UpRide is designed for all sorts of bikes, and accommodates those who might load up their bike with unconventional frame bags, cages, and frames. Its built to fit most bikes with wheels ranging from 20-to-29-inches, and tires up to 3in wide, though it can accommodate a 5in with the UpRide Fatbike Adapter (sold separately). The rack itself can be locked in place with an included key, and is easy to slide from one side of your car to the other, should you need to switch up your setup on a whim.

Thule UpRide
Surprise by how heavy it was out of the box, much heavier than the model I’m replacing. Seems to be a good product. Having trouble fitting the Trek speed concept small on the new bike rack and I would doubt the extra small would fit. This is due to the cut out and aerodynamics of the front wheel. May not fit any of the triathlon bikes with the front wheel cut out in the frame you better check it out first before buying.. The medium and large Trek speed concept fits fine

Fatbike adapter failure
Within the 1st month and the first cold snap the plastic slider bracket on the rear of this fatbike rear wheel holder broke off while using the ratchet system to secure the rear wheel, rendering the attachment unstable and at risk of coming loose or lifting off under strain. Whould have expected better durability from a reputable co.

Great but fatbike beware!
Awesome roof rack. I bought the fatbike attachment. My bike has 27.5 x 4.5 (80mm od rims) studded tires for winter. This rack comes no where close to being able to fit the front tire. It fits my 29 x 3 inch wheels easy. A modern roof rack should be able to fit a common size studded fat tire when selling/marketing fatbike accessories for it. For context I transport my fatbike on a Thule hitch rack t2 pro xt normally and it struggles with a little force to fit the studded tire but does manage it (fits regular 27x4.5 maxxis with ease though). Beware if you have a studded 27.5 x 4.5 front tire. For reference mine is a cake eater, studs or not, this rack can’t come close to locking, the ratchet won’t even make it up the wheel. Aside from the fat tire issue, it’s excellent like my other Thule racks. If I’m going to use the roof rack over the hitch at times, at least for the fatbike, I’ll be installing my 29 plus on the front end just for transport. Still recommend but with a disclaimer.

Well made and secure.
The Upride is well-constructed and easy to install. It holds my bike very securely. It’s still a hi reach on my Honda accord so if you’re considering putting your bike on the roof of a vehicle think about how high the roof is and whether you can even reach to get the bike on the rack. Also, consider that you will have to hoist the bike over your head (unless you use a ladder or stool ) to get it on the rack so you don’t want it to be heavier than you can lift to that height. The only thing inadequate about the upride is the security cable, which is only just long enough to loop around the end of the frame. Also note that there is no lock, so you need to buy a lock kit which you might want anyway to secure the upride to the crossbars.

Stolen Bike because I trusted Thule UpRide's Lock
Sure, it's nice to keep the wheel on, and not have to fuss with the bike at the trailhead, but the built in lock lock is terrible, and I'm embarrassed I trusted it when I walked away from my car. If the lock-wire was thicker it might be effective, but it's so thin that anyone can easily cut it and steal the bike. For a day trip where you're with your bike the whole time, it works nicely, but do not ever leave sight of your bike, even with the built in lock. My bike was easily stolen while locked with the Thule UpRide. Do not trust the lock. Do not walk away from your car if your bike is on the roof. I'm not certain how to secure the bike using this rack, but the built in lock is not even close to acceptable.

Great bike carrier!
I've been using the Thule UpRide for the past few weeks and it's been great. Super easy to stick my bike on there, and easy to adjust for different wheel sizes etc. Very user friendly. Putting it on the rack was easy and intuitive. It has some different options for different crossbar styles. Very happy with my purchase.

Works great
I’ve got two Uprides on bars over my truck bed for our E-bikes. They are easy to install and put on and off. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing bike racks.
