Round Trip Pro XT
In the throes of packing, it can sometimes seem like the simplest way to get your bike across the country (or across the ocean, for that matter) would just be to ride it. That might be true, if it weren’t for Thule’s RoundTrip Pro XT bike carrier. Part carrying case and part bike stand, the RoundTrip Pro comprises a soft shell case with removable protective side panels to make storage easy. An integrated assembly stand adds more utility, making disassembling, packing, and reassembling as smooth as silk.
Just mount your bike to the aluminum Click-Rail with the included 15mm and 20mm axle adapters, remove the wheels and cranks, detach the Click-Rail from the legs, and mount it directly into the compatible hardware at the bottom of the bag. This system ensures your frame stays secure in transit, while included nylon wheel bags prevent scraping and scuffing. Sliding mounts fit any wheelbase up to 46in, and the removable side padding allows you to collapse the bag for easy storage.

- I've put it through the wringer
I weighed all options and ended up deciding on this because it's WAY lighter than the hard case. My bike in this bag with some extras is around 40lbs. It's super easy to roll around with the wheels on the back. The included bike stand is helpful and sets up in 30 seconds. Highly recommended.
