    Lock your Gear

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you want to keep you gear safe and locked up then these are the lock cylinders you need. Have them on my Thule mount system for my Jeep and I can sleep well at night knowing that they will be there in the morning.

    Keep Your Mind At Peace!!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Super easy installation (literally takes minutes) and your rack system and other accessories will be safe! Keep your mind at peace and your outdoor toys safe!!!

    Handy Accessory

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the lock set to pair with my AeroBlade rack system. A small part of the package, but wonderful for giving you peace of mind that someone will not run off with your gear. Well worth the money.

    Must Need

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you plan on keeping you thule locked to your car these are a must need. Anyone that has a little bit of thule knowledge can yank the rack right off your car in a matter of minutes if they are not locked. Easy buy here no brianer

    Worth the extra few bucks

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Thule lock cylinders are completely worth the extra few bucks to ensure your gear is safe and secure. I installed my very easily and feel pretty secure about my rack.

    Thule Trap

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They lock your stuff and install real easy exactly what I have come to love about Thule products. I have a problem with Thule selling a $400 bike rack that does not include an essential function. Thule is you are hearing me and Im not alone. Just give us locks to begin with! Paying an extra $60 for the locks to use the product is a borderline bad business practice.

    Easy Install

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

For a lock core, you really only need to make sure they are functional and easy to install. The Thule option is simple yet expensive, although it is a small price to ensure my pricey gear is locked down.
    Sold in packs of four.

    What more can I say

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They are locks. They lock your bike to your rack. They work, because my bike has never been stolen from my rack. Easy to install, with nifty case. the only problem is the price, but I think its pretty easy to swallow when you consider the price of buying anew bike. What else can I say?

    Protect Your Goodies!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used my locks for over 3 years now and they've held up great. My rack is on year round so they've stood up to the elements really well. I've only had trouble turning them when I've misplaced the plate. Thule will also send you replacement keys if you lose any (at a price of course). Really that's my only problem, I wish they were a bit more affordable. But if they last the life of the rack I guess they were worth it. We'll see.

    Necessary evil

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are ok, but wish they were not as expensive / included when you buy a roof rack. They've worked fine for me and I haven't had any issues with these seizing up, even after being caked in road salt in the winter. If you end up needing more locks than you bought in the first round, you can get extra locks directly from Thule that match the keys you already have, which is a nice touch. Also, if you lose a key or a lock cylinder you can get replacements from Thule as long as you have the number stamped on the key.

These things work fine and do exactly what they're supposed, just kind of a bummer that they aren't cheaper

    They're pretty cool

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

They get the job done, and for that I am thankful. I have 10 of them on my roof for all sorts of Thule products and they all lock and unlock fine. After a couple weeks of use a couple of them stopped working as smooth as the others, but they still lock okay. Overall, I am a satisfied customers. I recommend them.

    Lock it or lose it.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My favorite thing about the lock cylinders is the peace of mind I get knowing that my bikes are secure. It has gotten to the point where the bikes cost more than the vehicle they sit on top of so it's nice having solid locks in there. Very sturdy in a convenient location on the rack and I haven't had any problems with them.

My Thule Sidearm racks with lock cylinders installed. Very easy to install.

    Lock it or lose it.

    Don't Lose Your Keys!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When my rack is not in use, I leave the keys in the lock cylinder or tape them to the side of the box. Thule should write the word Thule on their keys instead of the generic number stamped on there. Easy to misplace or forget what they unlock!

Get 6 locks so you have only 1 key

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you planning to use it with Thule bike rack and Thule Root pack, I highly recommend to get 6 locks or more so you only have 1 key for the bike rack and the foot pack. I made mistake to get 4 packs for root pack and the purchase additional 2 for my bike carriers. They are not cheap.
