Travel with your bike, regardless of the frame shape.
The Thule Frame Adapter For Strap/Hitch Carriers work with hanging-style hitch-mount racks to hold BMX frames, downhill frames, women-specific frames, and other oddball-shaped frames securely to your rack and vehicle. The Frame Adaptor uses a telescoping push-button system that clamps onto a bike's headset and seatpost to hold it securely in place.

Top tube adapter
I bought this for a cross country trip to use with my mountain bike and it works as advertised. It allows for me to use all of my bikes with my trunk rack.

Poor fitment with Passage 2 bike Rack
The rack seemed to be a very good one, however I needed to use the Thule Frame Adapters and they did not seat securely in to the rack channels. I am sure that the adapter could work well with the correct conditions, but not with my bikes.

Essential to have
This product is essential if you have a full suspension bike and a simple car rack. The design is very simple to use and fixes the problem of placing your bike on the rack completely. Couldn't be happier with this product!

Easy to use
Used the frame adapter for the first time this past weekend with my daughters small mountain bike, and it worked perfectly. It is very easy to use and the bike was secure. I used it with the Apex 4 hitch bike rack.

I'm using the Thule Frame Adapter in conjunction with the Spare Me 2 Spare Tire Bike Carrier. Normally my StumpJumper is a little difficult to mount on such racks, but with the Frame Adapter, no problem. The fit is a bit loose around the headset & seatpost, but properly placed straps seem to eliminate any slop. About the only negative is that you can't have anything mounted to the seatpost right under the saddle - that's because that is where the Frame Adapter rides
