Lashed Premium Lace Snowboard Boot
The Lashed Premium is built for charging steeps, pow, and technical terrain, with gas left under the hood for light park play and good-old-fashioned groomer shredding. The 3D molded tongue, Power Cuff, and articulated cuff serve to extend rigidity for multiple seasons of use. The Performance liner is thermo-moldable, so you can customize down to your exact specifications, and it includes a hook-and-loop power strap that locks your foot in and prevent your heel from rising up. Traditional lacing permits you to fasten the boot to your desired tightness, and the Nikwax coating provides an extra dose of waterproofing to the stylish upper.

**NOTE: this is for the '19/'20 model** After utterly destroying my first pair of Lashed boots from many, many years of love I jumped at the opportunity to get a killer deal on the "Premium" version from last season in my exact size. Upon getting them I was surprised to find they are more of a suede material and come with a packet of NikWax for at-home application; while I'm no stranger to treating my hiking boots with NikWax, I wasn't expecting to have to treat them before wearing. This also completely changed their appearance (see pic) from a lighter brushed tan to more of a shiny chocolate brown. While working it into the leather I remember thinking it a waste (of time and NikWax) to coat the upper ankle/calf part, so its nice to see the newer version has fabric there instead. I kind of freaked out on my first day of riding from all the scuffs, but after 7 days of use they look like your favorite pair of well-worn work boots. Aesthetics aside, I absolutely love these boots, especially since this "Premium" version of the Lashed comes with an upgraded liner. In addition to be heat-moldable (DO IT!) they come with modular arch and ankle inserts to further customize fit - I've got high arches, a wide toe area, and narrow heel, so being able to fine-tune those has my feet soooo happy. I took for granted the traction of these until walking though an icy lot in my other boots yesterday and was reminded that they are, in fact, surprisingly good in that department. Besides the outer shell material, the only gripe I have is the velcro strap that cinches around the upper calf of the internal liner: I have skinny legs, but damn, what kind of cankles do the 32 team riders have? I'm honestly contemplating cutting 2" off the strap so I'm no longer awkwardly stuffing the excess into my boot!
