Why We Like The Vesper Quilt
Summer nights call for camping, but we hate feeling trapped in a restrictive sleeping bag during extra-warm evenings. Luckily, we have the down-insulated Vesper Quilt to keep us comfy without letting us overheat. When paired with an insulated sleeping pad, this clever system mimics a sleeping bag while eliminating finicky zippers, twisted covers, and over-protective hoods—all while weighing less than one pound. There are plenty of features that block unwanted drafts, and its free-sleeping design lets us move through the night as if we were in our own beds.

one of the baffles wasn't filled
it's lightweight, but one of the baffles got basically zero down at the factory. The baffle is stitched through on all four sides so it can't be that the down migrated to the sides. It just wasn't put in in the beginning. good materials. poor workmanship.

One major flaw
I love the overall idea of the quilt, it is very comfortable to sleep in. However, the down moves to the side of the quilt every night. So I ended up being covered by only a thin layer of fabric. Really dissapointing!

Perfect For Warmer Trips
The very first night I slept in it, it got down to the temp limit and I was fine. My feet got cold around 5:45 AM and it was time to get up then anyway. FWIW - I slept only in a pair of shorts that night. I could have gotten up and added a puffy and some socks and probably slept until well after sunrise.

so light! so packable! so warm!
the only time I'm cold with this is user error. I either try to use it when its way too cold for what its rated for (and I'm still surprisingly still warm-is) or I don't use the straps to help reign it in around my sleeping pad. I love it and its exactly what I was looking for, a super small summer bag and super packable winter cabin trip bag!
