Nice and Thick
Pad is a bit bulkier than you lighter weight pads, but the thickness and comfort make up for it. Easy to inflate and deflate.

This pad is great! It is super lightweight and easy to pack. It was great for sleeping and pretty thick. It held its air for 3 straight days.

Bought this for car camping. . I cannot sleep on thin sleeping pads anymore, but this pad was comfortable enough to give me a good nights sleep.

Great for glamping and short backpacking
Thought this was a pretty good for car camping and shorter backpacking trips. The Regular felt longer than I needed (I'm 5'10) and the pad isn't very wide either. I have the Therm-a-Rest ProLite Sleeping Pad and I wish it was just a thicker version of that.

This pad is comfortable to lay on and it is relatively light weight. But, I got it in the regular size and was disappointed to find that the actual insulated portion of the pad is only about 16 inches wide. There is an uninsulated 2 inch wide air baffle around the pad to get the 20 inch total width. The pad also makes more crinkling noise than I care for when I move or roll over. I have a Pro Plus in the small size that I really like for summer backpacking and kayaking. I got the Trail Pro in the regular size for cold weather camping. I am returning it and will look at other options.

I've slept around.
I got my very first Therm-A-Rest mattress in 1980. With my recent purchase of the Trail Scout Sleeping Pad, this makes five different Therm-A-Rests pads in my collection, and they all still work. I backpacked and Eurailed through Europe with a four-foot Ultralight Therm-A-Rest, and have snow-camped and toured on a motorcycle across the country with the luxurious Camp Rest. My Trail Scout is the perfect compromise between light weight and comfort. After 37 years, I've experienced three leaks, and they were all easily repaired. The best move is to roll up and deflate the pad, put some rubber cement on the leak, and allow the pad to try to inflate itself, which has it sucking in the rubber cement.

Great Night's Sleep!
This is a legit self inflating pad and was a huge upgrade from my Alps one that was my first sleeping pad. The mummy shape and raised edges kept me on top of it both nights. Very easy to inflate and deflate as well. My only complaint is the same as Andrew with the pack size. Not a problem for car camping but would be a little bigger than a preferred for backpacking.

Hey Kyle, great feedback, question, what size did you buy and does it match the dimensions listed?

After a few nights sleep on this pad I realized just how well I was sleeping. It feels almost as comfortable as my bed at home. Having a little bit of extra air around the sides of the pad really made a huge difference in terms of the weight and comfortability. I am excited to take this thing winter camping too, with such a high R value I am sure this pad will be great in the snow as well. I am happy that thermarest finally put some new innovations into the traditional inflatable foam camping pad, it really shows in this pad. I would recommend the long for anyone over six feet tall as I was hanging over the edges in the regular. The only suggestion I could make on improving this pad would be the packed size. Great product!

light and comfortable
Great reliable pad. fills up mostly on it's own with only a few breaths needed to top it off. Easy to get back in its stuff sack. Comfortable, with the edge that keeps you more in place through the evening. The wide option is a little to wide when rolled for backpacking.

As a full-time resident of my car, I sleep on this thing every night. And I love it! I have the wide version, and it's really nice being able to lay arms at my side without them dropping 2-3 inches outside the edges of the pad, something I've been annoyed by with other pads. This pad is comfortable, provides good insulation, and packs down to a decent size for backpacking. The surface is a little slick, and if you're sleeping on any kind of an incline you're probably going to struggle to stay on top of it. Otherwise, I can't think of a single thing I don't like about it! All the pads I've ever owned have been Therma-rests, and I've always been very pleased with their products.
