You never would have thought sleeping on the ground could be so comfortable.

The redesigned Therm-a-Rest Women's Trail Pro Sleeping Pad still puts two inches of padding between you and the ground, but now includes diagonal-cut foams for extra warmth. In addition to limiting convective heat loss, your comfort is increased thanks to body-mapping that targets support and cushioning for those parts of you that need a little more protection from the cold, hard ground. This do-everything pad packs easily, whether you're carrying your pack into the backcountry or around the world.

The coziest car camping pad!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This pad is excellent! My partner and I are indefinitely on the road/car camping and I wanted a pad I could count on to take a beating as my bed the next few months, and still fit my budget for the cush and R value I was looking for. If you remember to toss it in the tent and go set up the rest of camp then just let it do it's thing a while, the foam makes the self inflating pretty nice. I had wondered about the sizing and worried a women's cut might be smaller than ideal, but I"m 5'7" and this is plenty roomy for me.

I will say it's definitely not the smallest or lightest sleeping pad, and I can't say I'm stoked to use it for backpacking after packing down my partners Kylmit StaticV every time we move on. Knowing usually I just have to make it fit the gear box in the trunk and how much cozier I am for long term use is worth it. If you're not counting ounces and pack space, the trail pro is a safe bet.

Great size for a tween

I bought this for my 11 year old for his Big Agnes Haybro bag. It's a perfect fit and I'm partial to Thermarest as I've had one for 20 years that is still warm and comfortable (Hint: store inflated with the valve open). But I did have to scratch out the word "Women's" on the pad with a Sharpie so he wouldn't gender-reject...

    Best night sleep

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This pad was given to me as a gift three years ago. Thank goodness! Previously I was sleeping on a Z-Lite in order to save weight; (per my ex's obsession with cutting oz when backpacking). The Trail Pro has since made my backpacking/camping experiences so much better as I actually sleep now and it?s so comfortable. It also provides extra warmth on colder nights. The self inflate needs a little assistance, but not much. I usually blow it up for about 2 seconds and its good to go! My dogs have trampled all over this pad, unintentionally, but the fabric seems to be durable since it has yet to pop or rip a hole from their nails.

My only complain is that my pad didn't come with a stuff sack which at times can be annoying because it can be cumbersome.

The Rolled Size: 28 x 18 for this new Trail Pro doesn't seem right. Are these dimensions correct?
