- Q & A
thermarest down snuggler
Bought this short notice at the end of august for september hunting season.
I have used it several times, and while i think it is nice, it could use a secondary suspension adjustment like some of the other underquilts. For a 650 fill insulation it works okay, but i keep getting a cold spot right around my lumbar area (again a suspension issue i would say; hard to adjust properly for my double hammock). Backcountry has an awesome return policy, but i think i'll keep it for a 35-40 degree underquilt and get a Hammock Gear or UGQ for my colder weather quilt
Does this underquilt come with a warranty?
Therm-a-Rest takes pride in offering the highest-quality camp products and we stand behind every piece of gear that we make. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all products, except electronic devices, which have a 2-year Limited Warranty.
Should your Therm-a-Rest product be found defective under this warranty, Cascade Designs, at its option, will repair or replace it. Mattresses older than two years from the date of manufacture may be replaced with a cosmetically irregular mattress.
Shipping charges to an Authorized Repair Center for a damaged product are not covered and are the responsibility of the customer. Return shipping charges for the repaired product will be covered.
What temperature is this underquilt rated for?
While Therm-a-Rest has not published a temperature rating for this quilt, I am comfortable rating it for use in 35-40 degree temperatures.
