Prefer older, shorter version
I have had your almost identical Ridgerest mat for about 5 years. I adore everything about it. I use it for yoga/meditation/stretching at home. The new mat is about 6-8 inches longer. Prefer the shorter one.

Excellent all-purpose use
I love these old school RidgeRest Classic's. I keep them in my cars, and my shed, and around the house. Any time I have to get down on my knees or look under my car or exercise on the floor / ground. They do the trick. My only disappointment is that they were only offered in the largest size when I purchased recently. For my purposes, the old medium size was perfect. I plan to cut these down but I just haven't gotten around to it.

Used it on my cot
Used it on my cot and was surprised how much different the temperature was without it. Light weight, good bang for your buck.

Great Value for the Price!
I bought the RidgeRest Classic for a camping trip in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I had been using a backpacking inflatable (small) sleeping pad from another company. This pad kept deflating during the night and got holes in it too easily. I needed a pad that would not get holes in it and could survive if my three year old and 18 month old children decided to be monkeys in the tent. The RidgeRest Classic seems light and rolls up nicely into a compact shape for packing. It is made from a material that can withstand rugged conditions but is also comfortable for sleeping.

Perfect, straight forward, not fancy...
Perfect, straight forward, not fancy... can't poke a hole in it! Used the pads for years... glad to see the pad available again!

Was able to use it
Was able to use it 3 times until it blew away in a high wind never to return! (True Story). Insulated very well when I had it. Most likely will buy another.

This is my third ridge
This is my third ridge rest. Also have two therm a rest but l prefer the reliability of the closed cell foam! Especially when on a long Trek such as the CDT

These are decent pads for the price. They do not roll up very small.

I got one of these pads as a bottom layer for my thermarest Neoair on snow, and this quickly became my go-to only pad for summer and shoulder season camping. It is a little bulky as some other reviews have mentioned, but I always have space to strap it to the outside of my pack. Great as a summer pad but I have also slept on snow in 20F weather with this pad and a quilt before and been fine (was a little worried going into that but worked out great). I love the ease of getting to camp and not having to fuss with inflating a pad, or worrying about doing maintenance on the go. Have scraped this bad boy up and not lost any sleep over it (literally). Sometimes my feet stick over the edge but I usually sleep with them on top of my backpack so not as big of an issue for me
