Why We Like The Therm-a-Rest Parsec Sleeping Bag
When we're meticulously packing for a rough hike to the top of Lone Peak to get a weekend of climbing in, we pack the Therm-a-rest Parsec 20 Degree Down Sleeping Bag. With the Parsec's slim design and ultralight weight, this is the perfect sleeping bag to pack when you already have to haul a rack, water, food, and your other climbing gear up the 12-mile trail. Constructed with ripstop polyester and hydrophobic down, this sleeping bag keeps warm on chillier fall nights and early spring evenings and dries quickly in condensated tents. The large footbox has an extra pocket of down to keep your toes extra warm on cold nights under the stars so by the time morning comes, you'll be well-rested and toasty.

Soft and Comfortable
Fantastic bag with a nice feel to the body. Warm enough for the cool Fall evenings and light enough to take anytime.

Nocturnal Body Warmer
A good bag, nice weigth to feature ratio. Used in 30 degree temps and was on the too warm side - which is a good thing.

Very warm
I run cold so this sleeping bag is perfect for me. It's super small when packed and weighs absolutely nothing.

Great light bag
So far I’ve use this during the summer, and it was great! I always need to have a heavier bag anyways. But this wasn’t so heavy I couldn’t sleep on it with part of it draped over me and wide-open. I stayed cool enough. And it packs up tiny, and is very light!

Used only for car camping in the fall so far. Super comfortable and warm around 0C. Packs small and is light enough for backpacking.

Really Great Bag
This bag as been really great! Have had it for a while now and very much been enjoying it. Therm-a-rest, had some really great updates with this bag. 3 things I really liked about it are 1. It fits great. I am 5'9" using a regular and this bag feels comfortably roomy while also not being so big that it makes me cold! This is a great bag if you don't like narrower bags like the MH Bishop. its hood fits real nice, keeping my head nice and toasty and can be pulled even lower using the chords. Finally the draft collar it awesome. 2 This bag is really packable and compresses well. The compression bag that comes with is a really good size. When its in compressed in this bag I think its even seems smaller when compressed than the picture on the website. This was a really nice surprise and a real bonus. 3 This loft on this bag is really great. comping out of the compression bag it does not take long at all to get this bag to its full loft and when you get inside its warmth feels immediate. The draft collar is just as lofty and keeps that worm air in. Things to consider: This bag is warm! and one thing to remember is that 20 is the transition temp and it will be its warmest at temps in the low 30s. Lower than that you may want to have or wear a warm layer inside the bag or use a liner in case you get cold. Finally this bag is best paired with the NeoAir XTherm Sleeping Pad in colder temps and the NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad in the fall and spring. This bag uses less down on the bottom where it is often most compressed and meant to be used with a warmer pad (higher R-rating) when used at its lower temperature rating.

SynergyLink Connectors Don't Fit Larger Pads
The bag is great and meets my expectations on its own. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the SynergyLink connectors are too short to fit around one of Thermarest's own pads: the NeoAir Top Luxe. I was excited to use the SynergyLink Connectors, and in fact, they were one of the main features that caused me to choose to upgrade my sleeping bag.
