My “go to” pad
I have used Therm-a-Rest self-inflating pads pretty much since they hit the market. When I started considering backpacking, I decided that I be needed a lighter alternative, so I bought the Trekker med-wide, assuming I’d still use my other pads for truck and raft-supported camping. The Neo-Air is remarkably comfortable and has become my go-to pad for all camping. I also bought a Pump Sack, which works great and doubles as a pack liner.

Many holes, weak fabric
This is a comfortable pad for the tall, wide-shouldered user, that still wants a very light pad. However, in less than 30 days of total use, I've accumulated at least five small punctures on the top fabric. This is easily the worst record for any sleeping pad I've ever owned. These holes are a pain to find and repair in the backcountry, and it's difficult to submerge pads like this and locate small leaks—seriously, who has a bathtub that big?! If the punctures continue, I will return it to Thermarest.

Great Sleeping Pad
My first use of this sleeping pad was a 6 day trip into the Wind River mountains of Wyoming. It was the best sleeping pad that I have used in 43 years of backpacking. As I have gotten older, I have come to appreciate large size sleeping pads (25x77) and to hate mummy shaped sleeping bags. This pad was really lightweight (1.5 lbs) and warm (R3)and worked well with my other guilty pleasure which is a rectangular down sleeping bag. I slept like a baby.

Arguably more comfortable than my bed.
I was in the market for a new sleeping pad this past summer since my previous pad, while slightly lighter and more packable, wasn't particularly comfortable. After hearing rave reviews about the NeoAir for years I decided to give one a try and I have been very impressed. The Trekker still packs down very small (smaller than a nalgene water bottle) and is really light at just over a pound in the regular size. I have never slept better on the ground, and this thing is arguably more comfortable than the mattress on my bed. I was using it at high elevation in the Wind RIvers in temps just below freezing and it did a great job of insulating me from the ground with its solid R-Value of 3. My only complaint with this pad was that I wish that the regular was an inch or two wider, but that can be remedied by going with the "regular wide" size if you don't mind spending a few more bucks and a slightly larger packed size.

WARM & Tiny!
I've used this pad for over two years on many warm summer and cool-to-cold fall trips, and can attest that this thing can keep you comfortable in any weather. This pad packs down INCREDIBLY small, to about the same size as a Nalgene bottle, which you can't beat if you're really counting space and weight. My only complaint is that this pad is a little bit too narrow for me (I'm a 5'9

I bought this pad when a comparable pad from a different brand sprung a mystery leak on day 1 of a week long trip. Its light, packs down small, and is very comfortable. One of my favorite features is that the bottom material is thicker than the top, which will make this pad more durable without sacrificing much weight, and gives peace of mind when using on rougher ground. This pad is also less noisy than other inflatable pad, which is nice. Would very much recommend to anyone looking for a nice pad without breaking the bank.

This sleeping pad is awesome! It packs down so small and fits nicely in my pack. It inflates pretty quickly and you can adjust the firmess easily to suit your comfort level. It also has helped to keep me warm on some cooler nights. It can be a little loud when adjusting positions, but it's never really bothered me or my fellow campers. Overall: Rad Pad. Highly recommended in my book! Looking forward to taking it on many more adventures for years to come!

Comfortable and Light
The good: - Light - Comfortable - Really easy to adjust firmness even in the middle of the night. - Doesn't lose air overnight or in cool weather - Warm - In combination with a good bag, this has kept me warm on cool nights including setting a tent up on the snow. Bad - It is really loud. This is the only bad thing that I can say about it. I've still used it quite a few times and will keep using it, but definitely something to be aware of especially if you or people you are with are light sleepers
