used to be a great glove, not anymore

I've put it through the wringer

I bought these gloves to replace the same gloves I had purchased a couple of years ago, which were great in all regards. But NorthFace managed to screw up a great product by using a light fleece material and a very thin lycra in the palm section (you can actually see the "fleece fuzz" on the inside of the fabric of the new glove only covering half the surface area when compared to the old one, which is completely covered with fuzz). The result is a glove that is cold and probably will rip after a couple of uses (unlike the old version). The glove also has a poor fit when compared to the old version (both Medium): NorthFace must have changed the size and fit as the new version is longer (both fingers and wrist sections). Lastly, the sewing quality of the finger sections is poor when compared to the old gloves, further contributing to a poor fit. Overall: Don't waste your money on these gloves.

Decent gloves for keeping the kind off your hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They keep the wind off but my hands don't stay very warm when the temp is below 30.

Great dry, cool weather gloves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had these gloves for a while now, and I think they're great. They're definitely designed for cool, dry weather, and not cold, wet weather. I typically use them when riding my bike in the early morning when it's not raining, and the outside temperature is between 50 and 65. Below 50 degrees, and I switch to a more robust pair of weatherproof/windproof North Face gloves. The only minor gripe I have about these gloves are that the fingers run a little snug. It's not really bad, but it is noticeable (even compared to previous iterations of these same type of gloves from North Face).

Great product, great customer service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair for my Girlfriend. They got a hole in them. I contacted Northface, and they promptly replaced the gloves with a online gift card. All together, easy process. My Girlfriend loves the gloves.

Warmer than they look!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The length is just right for me but the width is a little too wide, oddly enough. They have impressed me with how warm and dry they keep my hands despite not looking like they will be warm! (Caveat: Have only tested in cool temperatures, like 40F at the lowest, so far.)

I wouldn't buy this product again, but they are warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decent product. The sides of the fingers started to rip pretty quickly.

Love these for general outdoor wear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Versatile glove that fits well and does just as the name says, protects from the wind! I thought they would be too warm but they seem to breathe well. A great product.
