Best of both worlds

  • Fit: True to size

I bought this warm storm jacket for my average sized 9 year old son in Medium. It fits perfectly and looks great in the cosmic blue color (the brown lining and hood actually adds interest). We've always gotten him North Face Denali jackets, but always had to buy a wind/rain jacket with a hood for damp/rainy days. This warm storm jacket is the best of both worlds; it's got the fleece lined body (not arms- but he doesn't mind) and a hood and is water resistant. The perfect jacket for Spring and Fall in Chicago.

Son's favorite jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The super soft fleece lining in this jacket is awesome. We live in the rain-drenched PNW and love that this jacket is totally waterproof but also has just enough lining to keep him (barely 5 yrs old, on the smaller side) warm without overheating at the park. Four thumbs up (two from him, two from me)
