    Warm is only the beginning.

The North Face Men's Warm Crew Neck Top utilizes FlashDry technology to wick moisture and dry quickly in order to keep you comfortably warm at the ski resort. An anti-odor treatment helps this heavyweight baselayer stay fresh after prolonged use, and a next-to-skin fit and flatlock seams minimize bulk when you layer up.

Bought this as a gift for my father. He thoroughly enjoys it. Fit true to size, not too big or too small, which is nice when it comes to baselayers. Said it kept him warm on chilly days in the sierra nevada's. Would buy again as a gift! Especially for the price.

It was a cold winter out here in Utah; I bought new gloves, new socks and a new jacket. Then I got into ski touring and I had to buy new skins…a new pair of ski pants…and some AT bindings…But you get it, winter sports come with a lot of preparations, and those preparations don’t come cheap. That’s why I was pleased to find The North Face Warm Crew Neck Top, a super warm, durable, breathable base layer at a price that can’t be beat. I’ve hiked a lot of big mountains in this top, it keeps me cool on the way up and warm on the way down and the anti-odor treatment keeps me smelling fresh at the bar. I’ve been warm all winter and I owe thanks, in large part to The North Face Warm Crew Neck Top

    Good stuff

Great baselayer, does exactly what it's supposed to from a moisture-wicking and insulating perspective. The fit was a little loose on me but exactly what I expected from a medium(smalls across brands are too small for my skinny/tall frame). Couple it up with the warm tights and you're all set for resort skiing or winter jogs in the park

I purchased this for my husband who is a ski videographer and in the outdoors for long periods. He likes that it doesn't get fluffies everywhere. He also likes that it isn't scratchy when you wear it next-to-skin. It is warm and comfortable. He typically wears a size medium and I ordered him a medium, which fits perfectly. The sleeves are a little longer to help keep your hands warm.

When you spend a lot of time outdoors in the winter, you end up with a cold weather layering system. I am an avid skier and combined with the TNF Warm Tights (Item #TNF00U2), I have a solid baselayer system great for resort skiing. On top of this Crew Top I wear the Arc'teryx Atom LT and Theta SVX Jacket and that is all I have needed down to single digit temps. The FlashDry material dries easily but it is not very odor resistant compared to natural materials like Merino wool. Affordable price for a good baselayer.

    Great and Stylish Baselayer

This top not only keeps you warm but also looks pretty good unlike some other baselayer options. This is my new go to baselayer for skiing and hasn't disappointed yet.

I'm very vulnerable to cold weather, but I can wear this and be fine when I tackle the wall when its cold. Works great under a shell for insulation and of course under a down jacket. It breathes well, stashes small, and dries quickly. I bring it on all my trips.

    Love the way it looks!

I bought this shift for my boyfriend, expecting him to wear it on winter runs. He wears it all the time! He seriously loves it.He'll wear it to work under his long sleeve dress shirts, or underneath hooded sweatshirts around town. Not just for a baselayer in the winter. It's a fitted shirt which looks great on him and it's versatile, so he can wear it for anything! Highly recommend!

    Awesome Baselayer!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm very vulnerable to cold weather, but I can wear this and lightweight flannel or a rainshell and be fine in wet weather at 50-30 degrees. Dries very quickly too.

    Quality shirt.

Great fit. I'm 6'2 195lbs and the Large fits wonderfully. I usually don't like the fit of baselayers, but this one I'm really a fan of. It's definitely warm but not too hot on warmer days. I'm slowly trying to layer more, and this shirt will be the first step for my winter fun.

    Perfect base layer!

I got the 2011 version with the zip

I am 5 feet 11 inches, 160 pounds. I bought size "S". The fit is perfect. Body-hugging yet not in a skin-tight, suffocating way. Material feels light. The seams look very well done and the zip runs smooth.

I used this primarily as my base layer to sleep in with my sleeping bag

Got to use it during my 2 week trip in Nepal, where 10 days were spent trekking and sleeping in tea-houses.

    It felt comfortable.

During the initial nights, i have not yet dialed the right adjustments on my sleeping bag. Meaning, how much should i zip it up, or cinch the hood, etc.

One night i found myself feeling very claustrophobic ( as i had zipped it all the way like a mummy!), my body over-heated and i woke up perspiring.

After unzipping the sleeping bag, i immediately pulled the 1/4 zip down to cool off. I did not bother to get out of the bag to towel myself dry and went back to sleep.

In the morning my body was dry and so was this shirt. How great!

I wore this for about 7 nights, and it did not hold any odors.
