Great Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 5'6"
  • Weight: 135lbs

This is a great jacket! It's light and packable but still fairly warm, or at least warm enough on its own for Maine in the fall and early winter. I've also layered it under a peacoat for extra warmth. I've worn flannels and pullovers under this jacket as well and haven't had any movement restrictions or discomfort. I've washed it a couple times and its held up very well.

Perfect!

Great fit, perfect for layering. Stylin little jacket for around town or up in the mountains. North Face for the win!

Not true to size

  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: M
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 138lbs

Sizing is way off. Description states "True To Size." I wear a size medium in all of my other North Face garments. (My RTW size is 8/10.) This jacket in size M fits like a size small, which means too tight everywhere -- across the shoulders, bust and the sleeves are too short. The style looks like it would be quite flattering, but this jacket runs very small so I'd consider going up one size for this style.

Great slim fitting insulated jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium
  • Height: 5'10"
  • Weight: 152lbs

Super warm for mild Perth weather. I buy a medium in all North Face shirts and jackets and the medium fitted well. Its slim fit so it doesn't look puffy like a lot of insulated jackets.
The matte black is great and the quilting is sliming with the diagonal lines.

Huge arms

  • Size Bought: medium
  • Height: 5'5"
  • Weight: 125lbs

This coat was just weird. I'm not sure sizing down would have helped. The upper arms were utterly massive. I don't think my arms are super skinny either, this seems to just be a (really unflattering) trend coat manufacturers are following.

Teal, Not Aqua

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Size Bought: xl
  • Height: 5'9"
  • Weight: 150lbs

I was concerned about the Harbor Blue color of this jacket as monitor views, on this site and others, made the shade unclear. For the record, it's a deep teal, not an aqua. It was just what I was hoping for.
The fit is good except that the sleeves are long. I'm 5'9" and can't recall the last time I had a shirt or jacket with sleeves that were too long. Not sure if I'll roll or stitch them, but be aware of this before buying.
Warmth is mid-level, as promised. Will work fine for city dog walking and maybe, with layering, for mountain hikes.

Thin & Color

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 4'10"
  • Weight: 100lbs

I am 4' 10'', 100 lbs. I read reviews before making the purchase and many commented the size runs small so I ordered a small vs x-small to give some cushion for layering. I purchased the Fire Brick Red jacket. The image clearly shows Yellow as the North Face logo. The product I received fit bigger than I expected and the North Face logo stitching was Red vs Yellow. I received many compliments for the jacket being bright orange or coral red. It's supposed to be Fire Red... The jacket was also very thin, good for Fall and Early spring but definitely not for a windy or cool winter. The jacket is honestly over priced for the quality and not what I had expected. I plan to return it.

Great Looking and Comfortable Jacket

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small
  • Height: 5'4"
  • Weight: 120lbs

I'm 5'4", 120lbs and size small fits nicely. The body is long enough to have some butt coverage. The sleeves are a little bit long so I tucked it under. I like this jacket because it is matted and more tapered rather than shiny and boxy. Great jacket for spring and early fall.

So comfy!

I bought this jacket and love the stretch!! It's sooo comfortable and is my new go-to insulation piece. I bought the black color way to go with everything but might need to buy another pop color. Definitely would recommend this piece.

    Look stylish while staying warm

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I live in the caribbean and will be going to visit the grandkids for Christmas so having a lightweight, warm jacket that's easy to pack is essential. I tried several jackets before I decided on this one. I like that it isn't boxy and has a feminine shape. The sleeves and length are longer than the other ones I tried, and you can adjust the bottom with the drawstring that is inside of the pockets to get the right fit. I would prefer an inside pocket but it's not a deal breaker. It zips up easily too. It isn't shiny either like most jackets of this kind.
I usually wear a medium but ordered a large which was just right for the athletic cut.

    Great Quality

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 102lbs

This is a lovely and stylish jacket with the usual great quality of NF products. The reason I have to return it is that I did not it research it carefully enough for how warm it is. Good for perhaps for fall late fall and early spring temps but no way good for the Michigan winter and rain. The color blue also very true to the shown pic on BC's web site. Also the BC customer service is outstanding.

    Unanswered Question

Which pocket does this pack into? I just got mine today and I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
