Versatility is great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another North Face triclimate jacket for over 10 years, and so this purchase was a replacement. I love triclimate when traveling to destinations with different climates. You can use the jacket as is, or separate it if that works better. Sometimes all you need is the outer layer if it is warmer or raining. Sometimes the lining is all that is needed. And then if you are returning to cold weather as we have here in MN, having the warmth needed makes coming home a bit easier.

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to wear skiing in New Hampshire, the color was beautiful and bright, but in terms of functionality, it was annoying that there were no interior pockets to store my phone. The exterior pockets were small and did not sit at a comfortable level to easily get things in or out

Snug fit, but does the job!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this for a ski weekend. It is slightly snug, so if you like lots of layerings, you may want to size up. It was the right size for light layers and kept me warm all weekend on the mountain. The zipper did break upon first wear so I was disappointed trying to fix that on the lift, but I was able to fix it. I would expect that not to happen for an expensive jacket. I would recommend it for outdoor use!

Limited features for a serious ski jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used in both spring skiing & snow storm conditions. Jacket does have wrist pocket for ski pass, but VERY limited pockets otherwise. Had to keep my phone zipped in lower pocket. Interior pocket on shell is open with an elastic top, and you have to unzip the puffer lining to get to it. Hood would not stay on over helmet...there was a stretch string that was supposed to help with that, but it took a knot right under my chin to attempt to keep it in place. Warmth, even with both layers, was moderate.

Great for Ski
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great ski jacket! It definitely runs on the smaller end, so it is a big snug. The zipper broke on the mountain during a wind storm, but I was able to fix it. When paying a premium, you would expect more than that. I wish it had interior pockets for skiing or an upper pocket, but overall, happy with the purchase. Kept me warm!

Not water proof
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a disappointment. This jacket is not waterproof at all. One ski run on the rain and we are soaked through to base layers. Waste of money

Love this jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to go snowboarding. I like the inner jacket that is easy to remove and is warm. That the jacket is waterproof and has a lot of pockets is a plus, especially the glasses cleaner one on the left sleeve! It's easy to remove around in and I've found no cons so far after wearing it for a month.
