    Stoke your love of snow.

Rekindle your enthusiasm for fluffy flakes with The North Face Aboutaday Pant. This waterproof, insulated pant brings out your inner-child on powder days at the ski resort and snowshoe hikes through the woods. The DryVent shell keeps you protected from moisture while the Heatseeker insulation keeps you cozy on the cold chair lifts without adding bulk. On powder runs, the gaiters with gripper elastic can be secured to your boots to prevent diligent flakes from getting into your pants and creating a damp chill. After the laps start to add up, inner-thigh vents keep you from overheating and the hand and back pockets can store snacks for refueling on the lift rides. This street-influenced pant will keep you dry, warm, and looking good from first chair to last call.

Huge Sizing Disparity, Bell Bottoms Also

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: S
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 120lbs

I'd say that the perfect body plan for these pants would be: very narrow hips/butt and very slender legs.
I normally wear a 26(0)/27(2) in pants for reference. The size difference between the XS and S is shocking. I ordered the S/Reg, and the pants were falling off of me, gaping at the waist, with a reasonable thigh area. I returned them for the XS/Reg, and the XS/Reg crotch/inseam was so tight that it was uncomfortable to sit or bend over, and the pants still gaped at the waist by a few inches, and the thighs were also very tight. ,
These pants also have a HUGE bell-bottom leg, and the sizing of the bell-bottom leg stayed consistent across the S and XS, so on the XS the bell-bottom legs looked ridiculous. I will say that the pants were very warm, and the seams/zippers felt sturdy and well-made, so they'd probably be great for skiing if you can get them to fit.

    too loose for me

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I'm 5'3" . 130 athletic pounds. The medium was way too big and the small a bit too baggy for my taste, but fit fairly well size wise. Full in the butt and thighs, which on me is a good thing.

    Do it all pants

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I got these as a gift, along with 3 other pairs of snowpants and she chose these ones. chosen for:
    -Warmth
    -Waterproofing
    -Vents ( for warmer days)
-And sizing. she's normally a size 4 , 125 lbs, 5'7" . Many other womens pants were too baggy or too tight, these were perfect.

    LOVE these pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 130lbs

bought both small and medium. Seems true to size and kept the small, but love the fit. not too snug and not too loose. the draw-string tie at the waist gives a little more flexibility in size too.

    Sized wrong

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I love these pants. They are well made, the legs aren't baggy. The size is way off. I'm 5'9", 150lbs. I'm a medium in everything. These mediums were hysterically small. Like high-waters, and could barely get them pulled up. I definitely want these pants so i'm returning and hoping the Large will work better. TBA. Also as a small side note, the "green tapenade" is much darker than in this photo, almost more olive colored. I still really like the color so not a big deal.

    Great pant, very slim fit

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I ordered these and got a medium hoping they would be a looser fit. When I first opened them I immediately knew they would would keep me warm, but when I tried them on the thighs/knee areas was just too slim fitting and the bottoms were very “bell shaped.” I ended up returning them because a large would have been too big everywhere else besides the thighs. I don’t consider myself to have big thighs so I think they are just a very slim fitting pant. I wish I could have made hem work because they would have been great on the mountain.

Look Good, Have Fun, Stay Warm

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 118lbs

Hands down the best women's insulated pant TNF makes. I've owned several TNF pants in my ski life, and these are by far my favorite. They come in funky, cool colors and designs, which match the splatter coat I got. I sized up this time to a medium (I've typically worn a small in years past) because I want a baggier fit with extra room for sending it on the slopes. I wear a 27 size jean for reference. They're totally waterproof and have a soft warm fleece liner with a good amount of insulation to keep you warm. Only need to add a thin base layer and you're good to go on even the coldest days.

These pants do not have any velcro for adjusting the waist like some of my other TNF pants have had, but I've found I don't really need that anyway. They have a drawstring around the waist which is better and more comfortable than velcro rubbing against your skin. All in all, really really love these pants. Get em before they're all sold out!!
