I purchased these shoes mostly because they were on sale and looked cool. They were intended for hiking. There are three issues that have relegated them to the category of "lawn mowing" shoes. 1. The heel is too sloppy. 2. The arch support is almost nonexistent and in the wrong place. 3. The elastic shoelaces, when snugged (not tightened), cut into the top my foot. Anything more than a mile or two walk is painful.
