    Insulation in a stylish package.

Stroll through snowy city streets in The North Face Women's Thermoball Insulated Parka. PrimaLoft's innovative ThermoBall insulation mimics down feathers in order to provide the warmth you'd feel in most 600-fill down jackets, and it protects you from moisture in the same way that quick-drying synthetic insulation is known for. Unlike most synthetic insulation, however, ThermoBall makes this parka packable, compressible, and lightweight for traveling in cold conditions. And if you're not so much a city slicker as you are a mountain girl, the internal elastic cuff, hem cinch cord, and zip front pockets do a fine job of keeping the chill of frozen precipitation on the outside.

    • Synthetic puffy for chilly days in the city or on the trail
    • ThermoBall is lofty, compressible, and retains warmth when wet
    • Slim fit allows jacket to be worn comfortably as midlayer
    • Internal zippered chest pocket for valuables and stuff sack
    • Item #TNF03CQ

    Have questions about this product?

Would the The North Face ThermoBall Insulated Jacket - Women's be ok as a mid-layer for skiing, underneath a shell? Or is it more a casual wear puffy?

Hey Hannah, the thermoball can definitely be used a midlayer for skiing. That being said it would be best purposed for mild winter weather. For the coldest days you may need more layers or a warmer puffy. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out via the information listed above.
