Nice jacket but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a tri-climate jacket this past winter. I don't see the exact one I purchased on the site. The outer jacket is fuchsia and the inner jacket is a much lighter pinkish color. After wearing it a couple of times I noticed the inner jacket developed stains that make the jacket look wet. Those stains remained even after washing. I called customer service and was instructed to ship the jacket to the warranty dept and they would take care of it. I spent $40 to ship it. I received the jacket back a few weeks later with a note that basically said.... too bad we can't do anything about it. So here I am with an expensive stained jacket that I'm not going to wear. Needless to say, that jacket is my last north face purchase. Beware of north face coats and jackets that are lighter in color.

Great coat for Pacific Northwest Winters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is great for pacific northwest winters (OR, WA). It has warmth and a waterproof shell. I can chose when I just need a puffer jacket or the combination of both or just the shell. Very practical coat.

This is to replace one already worn out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves the fact you can remove the lining. Replacing one she has had for a few years.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color is beautiful and it's perfectly warm and dry for Pacific Northwest winters. I have a petite frame so the rain shell on its own fits pretty big on me so I'd love it if they added features that allowed me to cinch the waste in a bit. I really like the puffer coat on its own. One weird design element is that the pockets on the puffer are quite low so its a little awkward to use them to warm my hands.

Good for decent weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it to wear for 40-60 f degree weather and it works! I would say it leans towards the thinner side but it's still a great jacket! The two layers is good for people who want to just have the outer shell or inner shell.

I would buy this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the waterproof outer shell and the quilted jacket that easily zips in and out. I have long arms and appreciate the large size for this purpose. There is also room for my neck when zipping the jacket fully up (I dislike feeling as though I cannot move my head if the neck part is too tight). The whole set up is fairly lightweight also. Good wind resistance also I had a very old NorthFace jacket with a similar set up- it had a fleece jacket that zipped inside.
