comfortable and breathable

I've used it several times

Overall a solid glove -fit is true to size with most other gloves -breathability is good -dexterity is adequate for an insulated leather glove -warm, but not for the coldest days -foam padding on the back is ok, but not super burly I bought these to replace a pair of Hestra vertical cut Free Ride gloves which I can no longer find in my size. I am about a dozen days into them, mostly in the back country. My Hestra size is 10 and these in XL fit similarily - slightly bigger. These gloves are definitely more breathable than the Hestras. They work fine to zip jackets, mess with boot buckles, rips skins. I do wish they had a tech finger tip so I didn't have to take them off to mess w my phone. I think these are warmer than my Hestras, but not what I am wearing on really cold days. Also compared to the Hestras which have so much padding I could wear in a bar fight, these have a lot less. Wrist velcro closures and elastic leashes are nice touches. A season or two on them will be necessary to speak to durability, but so far I'm guessing they will last me 3-4 seasons of heavy use which is my norm.
