    A hidden gem

I have a couple other pairs of climbing jeans from some of the known companies and these Sierras from TNF stack up really well. They stretch as well as the other ones (except for the So iLL ones) and possibly feel the best of all of them. Really natural, not 'techy.' I love that there is a gusset too. Even if a pant has a lot of stretch, a gusset is always better IMO. If you want a pant you can climb in, but don't like the nylon stuff, this is a great option because they will certainly not restrict you and feel like a pair of slightly soft denim jeans. My only complaint is the size of the waist compared to the rest of the pants. Since these have a good amount of stretch, the waist has give and wearing these a while without a belt, they can tend to slide down more than I like. It's nice not to have to wear a belt, especially when climbing. I think they could make this better by having the waist sized a little smaller per pants size, since there is enough give. Or they could stitch a material that doesn't stretch to the inner waistband. Aside from this, I love that the fit is slim but with a little extra room in the seat and thighs.

I love these pants. They fit really similar to my other favorite pant, The North Face Slim Motion. Denim feels durable, but stretchy and comfortable. Every pant should have a gusseted crotch. It makes it so much easier and more comfortable for any activity. Biking, hiking, running to catch the bus, etc. Thank you TNF for making a functional AND stylish pant.

Great Slim Fit pant for guys with thicker legs. They have a nice amount of stretch so climbing in them is no problem, and the cut is tapered, but plenty roomy and comfortable. They don't feel tight at any point in the leg. And they look nice enough to dress up, and casual enough to dress down. They've quickly become my favorite pair of pants.

    Great Slim Pant

North face has started to offer some true slim fit pants, and they are rad. I got the Motion Slim Fit pant last year, and just got a pair of this jean. They are a modern/slim fit, but not skin tight at all still plenty of room to be comfy and still friendly for those of us with thicker legs. The Navy color is interesting, they look more like a navy pant than a blue jean. If you're looking for a traditional jean look then I guess that's a bad thing, but I like that they are different. The fabric is a good mix of thick/burly feeling, but stretchy and comfortable. I'm always a 34 and these fit in a 34, with a little extra room to party.

Are these more of a boot cut fit or slim at the ankle ?
