Great fit and extremely warm jacket! Length is perfect not too long or short

Truly warm in the prairie wind!

I got this parka because I needed something to withstand the prairie wind in the winter. Mission accomplished in terms of keeping me warm! Even when we are at windchills around 0 degrees I am toasty. However, I took a star off because I think a winter parka should have good storage for your bulky gloves, hat, etc. This parka only has two small slash pockets on the sides and a simple open compartment inside. In contrast, my Columbia parka which is half the price has big cargo pockets outside and two zippered pockets to put your hands in if you're warm enough to take off your gloves. I like to put my keys or my phone in those too. Additionally, there is a zippered pocket on the inside chest that I can put my sunglasses. There's no doubt the North Face parka is higher quality and warmer, but I feel like someone prioritized a sleek look over function.

Warm in the prairie wind

Can't beat the warmth but I would really prefer larger and more functional pockets. The hood is comfortable and warm. The length is great. The fit allows me to put a bulky sweater underneath but still have a sleek look.

Very nice winter coat

This coat is long and runs big, I am 6'4 and wear a 2xl shirt, this coat goes down to my knees and I is big on me I can wear a thick hoodie underneath and still have room. Glad I got to purchase during this restock

I loveee this jacket ! I have Been a north face wearer for the last 15 years and I'm never disappointed! This coat is so warm and insulated very comfortable and you walk perfectly up and down stairs I intend to wear this coat for the next 15 years!

Nice warm long coat

I was looking for a coat that would cover my son's knees in the Chicago winter. He likes it and says he's warm enough. I bought size M (he is 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 150 lbs).

BIGGER SIZE?TALLER

I wear a 3XL to 4XL. Why this discrimination to BIGGER People. It's frustrating to find bigger sizes and they charge us more.

While living in Chicago, I wanted the Nuptse parka when TNF released it in the 1990s but it was too expensive for my budget . Well it’s back and awesome and I can afford one The materials are quality, the build ideal and the fit excellent. I now live in Portland where it is the perfect late fall and winter coat (about 40 degrees warmer here so can wear it without layers and still be toasty warm!) Highly recommended
