Warm,light as a feather...no pun intended,:) long as I need it to be (walking 2-3 my furry babies) so I need to be warm on very cold days the same as my dogs!:) it's just perfect jacket! Highly recommend this jacket!

Light, Warm, Stylish but lacks frills
Nice fit. zipper/buckle plastic which Seems cheap. doesn't hang well at the hem because weight is light. warmth is top notch, that's why I'm not returning.

I would buy this again

I bought this because I already had the thigh-length jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great coat. It fits perfectly according to the size chart, but it is roomy enough to wear a bulky sweater underneath it. It is very warm - good for Chicago winters. One particularly nice feature is that the zipper goes all the way up to the top of the collar. When it is zipped all the way up, you don't need a scarf. I wish that there were a belt loop in back because the belt sometimes comes out of the side loop.

Nice shape, good fit, but too many issues.
The shape and style of this jacket is very nice. The body and length is a good fit too - true to size. The material though, is much more dull and has a matte look - it doesn't have any sheen as the photos show, and it always looks a little dirty. It's also very hard to keep clean, any dust/ dirt does not easily rub away. The double zippers are convenient if you can get them to zip up. It usually takes me 5+ tries to zip up this jacket, and when I'm in a hurry, it's really frustrating. Finally, the hood, as always on North Face jackets, is too small. I have long hair and often wear a pony tail or a bun and the hood does not fit my head unless I wear my hair down. I've just removed it, since I can't use it half the time anyway. Overall, I'm really disappointed in it and would not recommend.

Best Coat that I own
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this jacket about 2 years ago and I got it in a beautiful purple that doesn't seem to be available anymore; however, this coat is AMAZING. I am not entering any type of sweepstakes. I know the price point is high, but I have gotten so many compliments on this coat! It keeps me SUPER WARM. If you're thinking about buying it, don't think, just click. I promise it'll be one of the best purchases you've ever made.
