The comfort zone between a hoodie and jacket.
The early spring morning is chilly yet humid as the dew rises from the wooded trail. With about a mile’s worth of time before the sun rises, The North Face’s Mountain Sweatshirt Full-Zip Hoodie is the perfect piece for your favorite hour of the day. Lightweight Heatseeker insulation feels equivalent to wearing a hoodie, but the synthetic insulation won’t weigh you down when you break a sweat or brush up against wet shrub along the trail. The soft stretch-woven material promotes a comfortable range of mobility, and the peach-lined interior is soft on the skin. A three-piece hood with a bonded brim fits snugly around your head to keep your ears protected before the sun comes out.

Light weight insulator that packs well. The material is very soft which can lead to tearing and abrasions, so I wouldn’t use this as an outer layer through the brush. My only gripe, it that I wish it had cinch strings along the waist.
How well does this hoodie/jacket do in the rain/snow?
