Why We Like The North Face Mountain Light Triclimate GTX Jacket
Sun, snowfall, icy winds, balmy temps—no matter what the weather brings, The North Face Mountain Light Triclimate GTX Jacket keeps us feeling just right. The outer shell shields us from puking powder, and its underarm vents let us turn up the air on spring runs. In frigid temps, the removable liner offers us warmth underneath its heat-trapping downy fill. And with the two layers snapped together, we're unstoppable against midwinter's cruel conditions.

Say Goodbye to Multiple Layers
The warmest jacket money can buy. Say goodbye to layers on the mountain. This jacket does it all. Easily becomes breathable by opening vents if you get too warm.

Overall a great jacket but lacking in minor details
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality jacket, but I was disappointed with the short velcro strips on the cuffs. When these are tightened around my wrists, they invariably come loose and have to be re-attached. This could easily be fixed with either a wider velcro strip or a longer one. For such an expensive jacket, I expected the cuffs to stay tightened.

Would buy again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had to use this in the rain as of yet, still winterish here, but it fits well (size medium, 5'11", 155lbs) and seems to be well made. Will know more as we get into spring. I am replacing an older Mountain Light. It had a mesh/net type liner where this one is a solid fabric. Should not be much of a difference perhaps? What I do miss is there are no internal pockets in the new one! That does seem odd and will definitely miss the storage. If I knew of anyplace that would add one or two in would consider that! The down liner jacket is nice. Could use cuffs on sleeves and a draw cord hem. It does have three inside pockets.

Yes, it is a great garment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it has a light outer shell good for wind/rain, and I can add the under jacket as needed here in our variable Northern Nevada weather

I love this jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best jacket from TNF. It kept me very warm in windy conditions and dry when it was raining heavily. Overall this jacket is phenomenal for extreme weathers

My first one lasted 20 years, I'm back for another.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the zip and out lining. Wish the hood still zipped off like the old model did, otherwise, it's perfect. Warm and fits well.
