My daughter loved this. Got it in pink. She was squealing and SCREAMING when I pulled it out of the box. Super soft and lovely shade of pink. I had to return because I got the wrong size and boy was my kid mad at me because now she has to wait a few days for the next one to arrive, lol. Amazing coat and I’ll buy it again next year when she outgrows this one. Highly recommend.

Sadly I had issues with the seams on the inside of this jacket and its replacement. Not a good one for North Face but Backcountry has amazing customer service. I wanted to love this but the quality doesn't live up to the price. I bought both my girls a patagonia reversible jacket. No issues there.

This jacket is extremely warm for how light weight it is. It’s perfect for getting my toddler to school in cold weather, and is thin enough that she’s still safe in her car seat. Runs a little bit big, but perfect because she has room to grow!

My daughter usually doesn't like wearing jackets but this one has been a winner! The thing she likes the most is that the inside of the jacket feels warm right when she puts it on. She doesn't usually reverse it because the other side feels cold to her, but it does slip on easier when she is wearing it over a longer shirt underneath.

I bought this for my almost 2 year old daughter. I decided to buy 2T so she would be able to grow into it. The grey inside fleece is very soft and keeps her warm. The sleeves are a bit long but I am able to roll them up and then it just looks like she has fleece cuffs, which is super cute. Washes and dries just fine without shrinking as well, which is important for toddler clothes. I would highly recommend this jacket.

We loved the coat we received. Came exactly as described, size was right on! This is my first time shopping on BackCountry and I couldn't have been happier. Our daughter absolutely loves this coat. We got the blue with reversible pink fleece on the inside. Generous hood and zip keep her comfy in the harshest weather. Sleeves are a little long so we have to roll them up. Overall, well worth the money.

My 4 year old daughter loves this jacket. She really can't decide whether she likes the fleece side inside or outside. It gets reversed nearly every day.

Is this jacket good for the snow/skiing? I'm hesitant about the fleece on the inside?

This would be a pretty good choice for snow play and skiing. It doesn't have any ski specific features however the DWR coating will shed light snow and precipitation. The fleece insulates the jacket well and will stay warm when damp. If you have other questions please let me know.

The color you are referring to is the Turquoise Blue, unfortunately that is a discontinued color from last year. We will not be getting anymore in stock. Sorry about that.

We live in Chicago and our winters can be bad. Would this jacket be o.k. for 30 or 20 degree weather with another layer or would it be too light? Thank you!

20-30 degree days on the playground should be no problem for this jacket. Put on some thick layers underneath and and those 15 degree days should be no problem as well. I am originally from across the lake in the Grand Rapids area and this jacket gets my Mid-West seal of approval.

Hey Molly, thanks so much for the question! It will really depend upon your climate, but this is a great cool weather jacket for toddlers. The 360 weight fleece is quite thick, so it will deliver a good bit of warmth. If you live in a mild climate this could be overkill. Hey Molly, Lexi is 100% correct in that the fleece on this jacket is pretty heavy. If you were going to use it during those seasons it would have to be closer to winter. They can always take it off if it gets too hot, which they're going to do anyway :)
