Moondoggy 2.0 Down Hooded Jacket

Warm her winter exploration up with the lofty down and soft fleece of the Moondoggy. This toasty winter jacket keeps her going thanks to 550-fill down that traps in heat and banishes cold to the outer world. A fixed hood lets her seal out snow and cold from above, and weld hand pockets with hidden snap provide a spot to warm cold digits.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coat for my son. Very warm, has a hood and most importantly for him it zips easily.

Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this coat for my son last year. He wore it four times at the end of winter before the seams separated by the pocket-a good 6 plus inch hole in the jacket. Because he wore it 4 days, they wouldn't allow me to return it. I had to pay to have it shipped to repair it. He wore it this winter for approximately two months before the same seam separated. It is not worth sending back anymore. It's an expensive coat to not even get a full winter out of it. And it happened not once, but twice. The fact that I had to pay to send a brand new jacket in for repair want right, and then it happened again. Very disappointed in The North Face.

Great product. Quality disappointing though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coat is for my toddler. We had the same coat I. A size smaller from 2019. In 2022 it was time for a new one. The quality wasn't the same but the coat is warm and comfy and my kid loves it. So it's worth it. I'd buy it again.

The reasons we buy this coat every year:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son wears glasses and finds hats uncomfortable and doesn't like neck warmers, so a coat that fully covers the neck to ensure warmth in frigid weather is essential and this coat not only delivers a proper neck coverage but also has a fleece padding! great job North Face

Great coat, better quality would be nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great warmth but the quality is not as good as I was expecting from the north face. This was a size up moondoggy replacing one I purchased back in 2019. The quality of that one was a bit better. Overall, nice warm coat.

A good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket is very warm and the colors are more subtle than they appear in the picture. I prefer it in person. My son really likes it and the fit is perfect.

Disappointed in quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has always worn TNF coats and can usually get 2 years of wear per jacket. This one is separating at the seems after just 2 months! To submit a warranty, I would have to mail in the jacket which isn't practical given it is the middle of winter. I would then have to spend money on a different coat for him to wear. So, I sewed it myself to get by and will buying another new coat next year. Disappointing.

I would recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how it fit my son. Even though I was hesitant about it. North face never fails.
