Travel lighter.

Prowl through the mountains this summer with The North Face Lynx 35 Sleeping Bag acting as your cozy den when the sun goes down. With its extremely lightweight and packable design, the Lynx is the ideal option for backpacking during the warmer months.

Cyclone construction maximizes efficiency to offer optimal warmth while keeping weight low and compressibility high. Heatseeker Pro insulation is lofty and insulates even in damp environments. Pad loops prevent your sleeping pad from shifting around so you don't wake up on the cold, hard ground with a back ache in the morning. And when it's time to get back on the trail in the morning, the compression stuff sack packs everything down easily so you can get going to the next destination.

Took this on a week long backpacking trip for it's maiden voyage. It worked awesome. The bag packs up really small in the compression sack provided. Very light weight, didn't add much to the 30# I had on me. The fabric is soft and smooth, very comfortable to sleep in. I get cold really easily at my size, as in 70 degrees is often chilly for me. We camped in weather that got down into the 50s at night and we ditched the rain fly so we were in open air sleeping conditions - and even for me, the cold weather wimp, two thin layers of clothes + this bag kept me warm. This bag is so easy to pack up, too, and for real you can get the compression bag down to where the straps can't get any tighter. Great bag, so happy with this purchase!

Great bag except for zipping

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Very good bag great weight packs smaller than the 8x14 listed and kept me warm in 40 degrees in CO at 9,000ft in Aug. Only issue: the zipper catches constantly on the inside draft collar. Took me 5 minutes every night just to zip it up every single time on 2 trips. Good bag for the price but my warmer Kelty and Mountain Hardwear have never had so many zipping issues. I even had huge problems zipping it up in the morning in full daylight without me in it.
