    A double-duty duffel.

When you're leaving, carry The North Face Landfall Expandable Duffel Bag like a backpack, and expand it to hold all your souvenirs when you're heading home after a few weeks. The expandable design adds four liters of gear-toting space, and the removable backpack straps come off easily so they don't get destroyed in transit.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I love that it is a good size and is expandable. The material is very nice and seems durable. I don't like that it doesn't have a real shoulder strap included. I have to use one of the backpack straps and it doesn't work as well and comes off easily. There also needs to be more compartments. One inside of the bag isn't enough and I do not have an actual shoe compartment.

I'm returning it. The heavy rubbery material it's made of may be good for waterproof activities, but makes it stiff and inflexible. But the real issue is the straps. They hook into loops and come off way way too easily, like right when you try to throw it on your shoulder. Not up to my North Face expectations of absolute quality.
