Second round of this bag

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Size Bought:
One size

My daughter got this bag several years ago and used it for everything. I mean everything she did every day. Soccer, school, skiing, overnight bag, travel… after 5 years the zipper broke, so she got this new bag.

Pathetic design of the upper pocket makes this bag very bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pathetic design of the upper pocket makes this bag very bad. It's difficult to explain, unfortunately I bought this bag inspite of several review comments about the exact same aspect not being good. I still bought as nothing seemed a problem from the photos, however the upper pocket really is a spoiler. It creates 2 problems at a very high level of review: (1) it makes the bag look very bad from outside when the upper pocket is stuffed with some stuff, however if the lower pocket is not 100% stuffed, the upper part of the bag will bulge out and bottom portion will cave in, and it looks really absurd / odd. (2) upper pocket really blocks your way to reach the bottom of the main bag compartment easily. I have never seen such a poor design of any backpack. I understand perhaps the intent was to create something innovative, but it has turned out a very bad design at the end (both aesthetically and for practical purposes)

I would buy larger version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality great color, however kind of on the small side. Too small for my lap top.

Great for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used on a trip to Disney World to hold water, hats, and other miscellaneous gear. I like that there are only two main pockets. Overall dimensions are good, the bag being relatively narrow, and straps are comfortable. Double handle at the top of bag is somewhat weird. External pockets for water work well for slimmer bottles - I'm not sure how well they would work for something like a Nalgene bottle or larger. I would purchase again.

You Need This.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this about 4 weeks ago and I love it! My previous bookbag was also from NF and it held up perfectly, I just wanted something new! I love the color of the bag and it has so much space! You need this!!! Nothing but good reviews about this!
