The North Face designed the Men's Impendor Soft Shell Pant for rock climbing in higher altitudes where brisk winds and incoming rain showers are constant problems. Its WindWall fleece is durably wind- and water-resistant to block those brisk breezes on the belay, and shed any moisture you might encounter on the retreat back to the tent. The fabric is also incredibly stretchy for freedom of movement, and the articulated knees promote high-stepping mobility on the climb. There are adjustments at the waist and leg openings to stay secure under harnesses, over climbing shoes, and even over mountaineering boots.
