    Super fleecy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Really like this jacket. Wear it often, whether at the crag, creek or just outside. It is pretty warm and heavy duty compared to my other fleece jackets from like brands.
It is a little more loose fitting than some jackets I have, but I dont mind. Can wear it with a shirt under or layer under it.

    Different but awesome

While I am used to the fit of the more technical pieces from TNF, this jacket is awesome. I wanted an everyday fleece that was warmer than my hoodies but with a more relaxed fit than TNF Denali fleece, which has a tight fit at the armpit for me. This is a walk the dog, doing chores outside, early morning run to the store type jacket. It has a relaxed fit with room to throw on a long sleeve thermal underneath. The jacket does not run large, it just has a relaxed fit. It's not meant to be a fitted layer for action sports. Construction is flawless, insulation is perfect, and I've worn it every day since receiving as a gift.

    Great fleece, Would recommend !

Unfortunately I had to return due to being a bit too big, not the fault of North Face at all though. The jacket is what you would expect from North Face, which is top of the line. The entire inside is insulated and feels amazing in cold weather. I would say it blocks out a good amount of wind and does a good job keep you dry in some rain. This would be great with a outer shell for very wet days out here in the PNW. It has the right amount of pockets, including one inside the jacket for your phone or wallet.

Is this insulated like a sherpa fleece like material?
    Does it block the wind?
    Where exactly is the lining?
Is there Any lining in the arms?
Will it be warm enough as a layer during the cold & windy wintertime?

Hey MC! This jacket is fully lined with fleece and the body and hood are lined with 60g heatseaker insulation. The lining is uniform throughout the jacket, the sleeves, hood, body, etc. It should be warm during winter going from building to car to building but I would recommend pairing it with a hardshell to keep you warm on the bitter, windy days. On warmer winter days, this jacket could stand alone.
