Nice backpack for trail running
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used it on a 50K trail. Very comfortable and practical. I would change the top closing system that is not very smart and doesn't close properly; it would be a mess with rain. I also would like to use a poles quiver instead of the current system. But I will use it on my next 85K trail.

Absolutely worth it.

I RECOMMEND THIS ONE A 1000 times!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today May 31 I did a 8 mile trail run with the north face backpack .... So smooth plenty of room for gels and nutrition and h20 this one now is one of my favorites in just one run !!!! I really like the material soft but durable and the straps are like almost invisible to the eye and to the touch REALLY NICE ADD TO MY TRAIL BAGS

Poor Design - Over priced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed when I got my hands on this vest. The top closure is a bad design. The opening of the pack does not close enough to keep rain out exposing the contents to getting wet. The closure is a draw string that when pulled tight leaves the 8" of string flapping in the wind. The strings that tie the water bottles into the pockets are difficult to detach. Would be a huge pain during a race to refill the bottles. Water bottle pockets are very narrow and will not allow carrying of standard bottles. The adjustment straps and buckles are thin and cheap. Don't think this pack would hold up to heavy use on trails. Hard to believe this pack made it through R&D. Will be returning for a refund. First time I've ever been disappointed by a TNF product.

Delicate, fast pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good pack for running, needs an internal zip pocket for keys (front pocket is great for phone but I dont want to store my keys next to my phone). Light material but seems not super durable, so be extra careful with this pack
