Good Shirt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is good if you're going for long distance runs. Very comfortable and Fresh. Loose around the arms and chest so that I could perform weight lifting exercises as well.

Great Shirt, Runs Short

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It is getting hard to determine shirt sleeve and hem length, but TNF is usually pretty consistent. After years of XL shirts falling into the same relative hem length, this shirt falls short and even going up a size does not seem to be a good fit. I am 6'3" and understand the complexities associated with fit, but surprised that a brand like TNF which has been so consistent, falls (literally) so 'short.' Size aside, an amazing shirt and the material/hand is extremely comfortable.

Great for ultras and marathon training.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a spendy running shirt, but if you are in the business of runs lasting 60+ minutes you are all too familiar with needing quality tops and bottoms. It does feel lightweight and breathable. Overall comparable to other brands similarly priced performance clothing.

Great workout shirt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super light, quick drying, doesn't stick at all when sweaty.

Almost as good as naked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great base layer. Super comfortable and very breathable. I'm 6'4 so the size L was a little short but it's still one of my favorite shirts and will probably get another.

Excellent Running Shirt; One of the Best You Can Buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shirt is one of the best running shirts you can buy. It is highly breathable, lightweight and (somewhat) anti-odor. It is also more durable than previous releases, although there is a tradeoff on breathability. It still performs well (keeping you cool and dry), and I found it comfortable running in full sun in high 60s. It doesn't stink as bad as other poly shirts but can't compare to wool; you'll probably want to wash this one after one intense run. I've purchased the Better than Naked shirts annually since 2018 (although 2020 there was no release), and each generation is a little different. This one has done away with the mesh fabric and ultra-fine mesh panels and instead uses a lightweight fabric with many small holes in it. While breathable, it can't compare to the breathability of the 2018 and 2019 release, and it is noticeably heavier. The 2019 shirt weighed in a 94 grams (on my scale, I wear a men's large), while this one weighs in at 114 grams. The change in materials has certainly affected its breathability, but it still much better than any brand on the market today (I'm looking at you Tracksmith). Although I miss the mesh panels, I suppose they were eliminated because of durability; I wouldn't even exercise with a running belt with past shirts because it would fray the fabric. This shirt can handle a running vest or belt without fraying. A few of the seams are no longer sewn flat (unlike previous releases, which were all sewn flat), which some people may find irritating but doesn't bother me. I would recommend for the next version to bring back the ultra-fine mesh panels around the collar and down the middle of the back to enhance breathability and sew all the seams flat for folks with sensitive skin. Still 5*/5*.
