    Lightweight Trail Monster.

Whether your pursuit entails technical and steep trails or rolling hills, The North Face Men's Endurus Trail Running Shoe assures dependable support and comfort underfoot. The lightweight Endurus features a mesh upper for passive ventilation and TPU overlays offer subtle rigidity and support. A TPU toe cap defends your digits from trail-side objects, and the FlashDry Collar promptly wicks away moisture to prevent hot spots when the things start to warm up.

The Endurus is outfitted with a dual-density midsole that consists of Xtra foam directly underfoot to provide equal parts comfort and shock attenuation, while the firmer EVA foam ensures inherent stability as you rack up the miles. The ESS Snake Plate assures protection from outcropped rocks, and the Cradle Heel Technology discourages general variability when running on varied and inclement terrain. No trail running shoe would be complete without a tenacious outsole, which is why the designers at The North Face equipped with Endurus with a Vibram XS Trek outsole with 3.5mm lugs for unimpeded traction and grip.

    Spacerock 10k trail run

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 10.5
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 175lbs

I bought these because I had a 10k trail run coming up and they were the best thing I could ask for when it came to a running shoe. Great traction on the trail and the sole of the shoe is like running on a cloud. These work great for trail and road running. Definitely a great purchase.

600 km of trail in 4 months

Got in June. At the TNF in Soho NYC, for $130...
Perfect grip. Soft support helped me to run with some kind of heel inflammation, even on road...sometimes. I'm 170 cm x 64 kg. Normal width, true to size (8.5). The sole wear is considerable at the rear, but still enough for the next 300-400 km. The upper side looks good, the colour of the soft stuff exempt (become brown, hard to clean the pigment, but still soft).

    Maintenance :
    - wash once a week, because the upper net soaks the dust ...
    - changed the insoles , the original became obsolete
For road today I use the Ghost 10 and the switch helps.

These are awesome looking, I gave them to my Father as a gift and he wears them all the time. They are roomier in the toebox than pictured I would say, but are so comfortable. I put them on myself before I gave them to him haha, but the material is very breathable and waterproof. Love the seams on these as well. I ordered the all gray pair, and they are fantastic.

TNF is not the first brand that comes to mind for serious trail-running shoes in my mind, but these are a solid offering in a lot of ways. They've got a similar feel and attitude to the Brooks Cascadia line - big, well-protected, no-nonsense trail runners for pounding out some miles.

The fit and toebox are a traditional design, but reasonably forgiving - no pressure points on my oddly shapen, beat up feet. The TPU toe cap is an excellent design feature if you run rocky trails and something I wish more trail shoe designs incorporated.

Traction is great on loose dirt and most dry surfaces, but where these fall flat is on any wet or even damp rock. It's like a new pair of socks on a freshly waxed linoleum floor. No grip at all.

Five years ago, even with this flaw, I would probably overlook this flaw and give these a higher rating. But, these days with so many unbelievably grippy rubbers available, I'm struggling to understand why you'd put something so mediocre on an otherwise very solid shoe.

Best trail shoes I've worn yet!

North Face has struck gold with these trail shoes! Light weight with great cushion and incredible traction. The stability in the Endurus trail shoe is all time. I've worn them for several trail runs and hikes around the wastach range and also to work where I'm on my feet all day!
