The North Face Women's Endurus Hike GTX Hiking Shoe is built to endure rugged trails and the often inclement weather you face at high elevation. Built with the protection of Gore-Tex, the Endurus provides a waterproof, breathable barrier between your foot and the soggy conditions outside. Seamless welded TPU geo quarter panels and a welded toe cap surround your mid and forefoot with durable stability and protection when navigating rocky trails. A dry foot is more likely to stay blister free, so in addition to the shoe's waterproof membrane, the collar is lined with FlashDry fabric to keep your foot feeling fresh.
Reaching the summit is only the halfway point of your journey, so The North Face added an XtraFoam midsole that utilizes softer-density foam underfoot to ease the impact of long descents and a firmer-density EVA compound at the perimeter for stability. Underfoot, a Vibram rubber sole with 4mm lugs provide lizard-like traction, and inside, an OrthoLite footbed lends ergonomic comfort for long days on the trail. The result is a hiking shoe that chews up mile after mile of challenging terrain while keeping your foot in dry, cushioned bliss.

the complete package
The Women's Endurus Hike Gore-Tex shoes are the complete package. They provide support, stability, and plenty of cushioning, and the Gore-Tex helps keep the water out. They are perfect for long hikes or just walking around the city.

Perfect fit
I have a pair of winter hiking boots and found that they were the most comfortable to wear during work. They are 5 years old and still look great. I knew a pair of tennis shoes would work just as well and I can wear them all year round. I absolutely love them. Well worth the money.

Worth it
Bought these a year ago. Super comfortable shoes with excellent grip. I have had no issues. Use them in rainy weather and hiking. Allows me to trot comfortably on trails while keeping my feet dry. Not a fan of the design, but that is really minor. Would highly recommend!

Coming apart after 6 months
I loved these shoes at first !! Comfortable for hiking and I was going to buy the boot version for winter. BUT after 6 months of medium use they are fraying apart? And the worst part is they say they will do something about it but you cant just send picture. You have to pay to ship them yourself to their warranty department so they can evaluate and that takes at least 4 weeks they said. Not a great system. They lost my future business.

Best item I packed
I purchased these a week before a trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton and was worried about "break in" time. None needed! They fit perfectly, we're so comfortable, sturdy, kept my feet warm and dry, and held up well. Highly recommend!

Great Buy!
These were the first pair of hiking shoes I've ever bought and I really like them. I broke them in in Arizona and they were perfect on my trip to Iceland. The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is because they rub right under the ankle bone on the outside of the shoe. But other than that, I really love them. I wear them just to go on walks.

Very comfortable
I bought these shoes for regular hiking. I have narrow heels and wear orthotics. It is difficult to find shoes where my feet don't slip out. These fit perfectly. My regular shoe size is 8.5, but I always buy one size larger in hiking and running shoes to fit the orthotics. 9.5 fits perfectly. The bedding of the shoe feels very cushioned. There was no break in required. They were comfortable from the get-go. I am deducting one star because I don't think they look very attractive but due to my foot problems that's secondary. 5 stars for comfort!
