Nice looking design and quality, but a boxy fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this coat as my warmer winter days coat (March, April), as I have a long winter parka from North Face for my freezing cold days in Minnesota. This coat has a nice smooth-zip zipper and the inside waist band that keeps snow out (as a former snowboarder this is a great feature). Tall Zip up and large hood also great for covering more skin. I am however giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the cut of it has that true snowboarders cut that is straight and boxy, so it's loose on top and snug on the hips, with my hourglass shape. I need a little more feminine curve for it to fit in a more flattering way- it just looks like a square on my body.

this fit is unmatched

A jacket that sparks joy!

I'm heading to Switzerland in January for a boarding trip and I'm looking forward to rocking this with the matching bib. It fits well and is a good quality piece.

Adorable and Great Jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is perfect! I needed something to wear while Spring snow skiing, and this did a great job. I was able to layer tops underneath it for variable warmth (the jacket is a shell). It kept me warm and dry while skiing in Colorado!

Not the north face I remember
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loveeeee the design very fun and creative of NF. However in recent years I've notified a decline in quality and increase in price. 8 years ago I could buy a full insulated ski jacket with waterproofed zippers and bright vibrant colors for around 400 or the price of this jacket. This jacket, while I love the design I felt as a shell was not worth the price tag. The zippers didn't easily come up and down and weren't waterproofed, the colors didn't pop as much as the photos showed, and don't think a shell is worth this much. Makes me sad because I grew up wearing north face but it's not the same anymore :/ I also found the fit off for a snowboarder at least. Sitting down and bending over to get my boots in, it was very hard to bend- seemed to be tight in the wrong place and I'm 5'8, athletic build and in good shape. Maybe this is more for skiers but as a boarder I didn't find it right

Great shell jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this jacket! I needed a non-insulated/shell for warmer days skiing. This does fit a bit boxy as other reviewers have said, but that's fine with me in case I want to add a midlayer. (I'm 5'1, 115lbs and purchased a Small). The sleeves are a bit long for me, but not bad. I've worn this with just bibs and a base layer on 30-40 degree days and been very comfortable. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the zip pockets at hip, the zippers are diagonal and aren't big enough to hold my phone and difficult to access, but not a deal breaker bc there are plenty of other pockets that work for a larger iphone.
