Stand up to the wrath of Mother Nature.
The North Face designed the Women's Cryos Expedition GTX Parka for conditions that human beings were definitely not designed for. Whether you're actually hunkering down for the winter on Baffin Island or your walk to the store just feels like a mission through the tundra, enjoy a cozy escape from Mother Nature's harshest in this heavy-duty parka.
The Gore-Tex shell repels snow and rain, with fully taped seams to keep moisture from sneaking in. The North Face stuffed this parka with toasty 800-fill goose down, so you can enjoy sleeping-bag level warmth while you're out and about. The adjustable hood features a soft and stylish, faux-fur ruff, and the knee-length fit adds a little extra warmth while you're navigating subzero temps.

I was freezing when I traveled to Sweden and Iceland during the wintertime and I want a good warm jacket for future travel. I love this jacket because it has lots of pockets and it seems like it would keep me very warm. Iâm 37-28-37 and normally wear a M in Northface but this M was too big on me and the bottom hem
was so big I think the draft would blow up into my body. Iâm not giving up on this jacket though. Iâm returning it for the S to see if it fits better.
Top tier style and warmth
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
We had a cold snap in mid-September this year, which reminded me how much it sucks to be freezing. I decided this winter I would get my act together and buy a very serious coat. I was looking for extreme warmth but also some style. After looking through LOTS of options, I settled on The North Face Cryos Expedition GTX Parka. It was a great decision. This jacket is very serious but also very stylish. The materials are beautiful, and it is very chic with super subtle logo placement (no big TNF logo or seal on the arm - you can't see a logo unless you're looking for it). I also like that the faux fur is very high quality, and that it's animal friendly. This jacket is WARM - 800 fill down and gore -tex. Multiple pockets (on the side, in the front, and in the inside of the jacket) add to the smart design. Better yet, you won't be wearing the same jacket as everyone else.
