Ok, just not for really cold days.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight and easy to pack. Not as warm as expected.

Quality Insulating Pant
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Med Reg
Purchased these for winter backpacking and as an emergency layer to keep in my touring bag. So far I'm very pleased with them. They conpress incredibly well even though they've got synthetic insulation - which is more ideal than something like the MH Ghost Whisperer pant (down insulation) for winter activities. Between moisture in a tent, contact with snow, sweat from activity, and even from spilling soup/coffee on them - synthetic insulation is much more suited to the task IMO. They're not especially bulky, so they can fit under most standard snow pants (closer-fitting touring pants not so much) and easily over base layers - I don't actually wear them under my snow pants, I run too warm, but would work in an emergency. For fit rederence: I'm 6'1", 190lbs, 33"waist, 34" inseam and purchased a Med-Reg. Could've gone "Long" length but since I'm usually wearing boots the regular length is more compatible, and won't graze against the ground if I'm rocking camp shoes. Also I've still got very good mobility in them and can handle most any movement other than maybe a super deep squat. Overall great insulated pant and very happy with them.

Absolute love these pants!! Warm, lightweight and super cozy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most incredible pants for using as a mid layer when riding/playing outside, waiting for the bus or walking around town. They slip right over any pair of jeans or khakis, or better yet my North Face sprag pants. They are wind proof and water resistant and I know that they are part of the circular design. Major warmth for the weight and the blue camo color is simply awesome. I get compliments all the time. The pants are soft, cozy snd very warm. TNF outdid themselves with this one.

Warm legs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Game changer. My bottom half gets cold just like my top half. Why do I not insulate it!? It feels so wonderful to have warm legs. Great for lounging in a cold house, or to pack along for an outdoor adventure on a cool day. I have no qualms wearing them to the grocery store or such. Light and comfortable. Feels a bit like wearing a trash bag but in the best possible way! I'm skinny and tall and the inseam is long enough. True fit. Would highly recommend

Excellent Winter Addition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great as overpants for my bike ride to work on cold days! They are also great for lounging, though a little slippery for some surfaces. The cinch doesn't get super tight, points off for that and for only one back pocket.
