    Ceptor Anorak Jacket

Designed for those who enjoy setting skin tracks, booting up steep couloirs, and finding pristine turns, The North Face Women's Ceptor Anorak delivers a freeride-inspired aesthetic with a technical construction to keep you out from dawn till dusk. The 3-layer shell keeps you dry, even during wet spring storms, but prevents you from overheating when you're breaking trail. Generous underarm vents dump excess heat, and the side entry zipper makes it easy to get the anorak on and off.

    Great Skiventure Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 146lbs

North Face stepped up to the plate with their outerwear this year and this Ceptor Jacket is no exception. Stylin' looks meets versatile performance--a jacket for freeride, touring, deep-pow skiing and more. The deep front zip makes it a breeze to use.

A fellow Utah skier and a ripper by her own right (pictured here) put it to the test this year in Utah: "The Ceptor jacket is comfortable and soft, but still super tough. I've put it through the ringer this season and it barely has a scuff on it. I would recommend using water proof spray on it before you take it out though."

If you plan to make this an outfit and pick up the pants.................
"The pants I would say size up unless you like your bottoms really fitted. The insulation, cut, and low waist make it a tighter on the thighs than some of TNFs other pants." (thanks NW)

    STYLISH AND DURABLE

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I absolutely love this Jacket. The overall body length of the jacket is longer which I love for better protection. Super stylish Anorak look and quality of shell is very durable so far.

    Fun jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I tried this jacket out on a classic Utah powder day. I loved the length on it and it kept me nice and dry. I found it was really easy to put on over my head but found it easier to take off by dropping it around my legs and stepping out of it. I loved the color and the hood fit great over my helmet. My only concern was if the material would last after a season or two of hard use. I am 5'7 and weigh 125lb. I tried a small and it fit great but was a little short in the arms and tight in the shoulders, but it still a good fit! If I wanted a more fitted jacket that looked a little more flattering I would go with a small. If I wanted a jacket with a little more room I think a medium would still fit great and be a little roomier.

    Love the style!

This anorak is great because it is so unique on the mountain. If you are tired of looking like everyone else, but still need a high performance jacket, you should buy this anorak right now. The side zips help to get the jacket on and off. My mom actually found it easier to step into the jacket since the front has such a large opening.

    Love the style!

    Great Jacket & Great Features!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 140lbs

I used this jacket once and instantly fell in love. I am short and sometimes jackets can hit me in all the wrong areas, this one was spot on. I surprisingly didn't have to size up to fit my hips/snowpants, it was plenty roomy! The blue color is also really beautiful and easy to spot on the mountain!

    Well Made and Durable

Gave this as a gift - this is what they had to say!

"This coat is great! I love the side zipper for taking the jacket off. Well made and durable. My favorite part would be all the different pockets for carrying everything I need on long days outside. "

      Great jacket!

This is an incredibly stylish, dry, and wind resistant shell. I am a fan of the vents while skinning for temperature control. The fit is also great for the fact that it can accommodate many under layers on cold resort days. 3-layer shells are wonderful and keep you dry in the heaviest of storms. I will give a size down recommendation for this jacket and most of North Face apparel.
